Our favourite Indian Restaurant in the area. It was packed on mothersday - as expected. Still the food quality was top notch. Don't be fooled by the location - or the name ;). Give it a try - you won't be disappointed.

The food was well presented and the portion size was good. Unfortunately the service went past attentive and was bordering on intrusive. We were interupted at least 8 times by 3 members of staff when 3 times by 1 staff member would have been adequate. This may have been due to the fact that there was a high staff to customer ratio or possibly a lack of communication between the staff.

Food very nice. $10 corkage per BYO bottle, something to consider.

Great venue for a catch up with a group of friends. Fantastic food and a very reasonable charge for corkage made for a great night out.

I liked the ambience of the place. I was really disappointed by the quantity of the food. 4 small pieces of chicken for $13 sure doesn't feel good. There is a lot of veggies to show that the quantity is good. If I order chicken Manchurian I am hoping to see more chicken than veggies. Also I had really high hopes from melting murgh. I love a good charcoal flavour. But I was disappointed cause I dint get any. The only good thing about the restaurant was its ambience.

IB presents as a better than average Indian,no laminex tables here. Also, crockery ,cutlery and glassware are of good quality. On the night,we thought the food somewhat disappointing.Dishes appeared to be mostly sauce with a few pieces of meat. Not sure if we caught them on a bad night as our previous visit had been favourable.

Had high expectations after hearing so much about this place. Wasn’t disappointed. Very like Indian restaurants in the UK. Really tasty food & good service. We’ll be back for sure.

About the restaurant

Indian sophistication

Seductive, sleek and oh so sophisticated is Indian Burrp, a modern Indian eatery that combines contemporary culinary techniques and traditional Indian methods. The menu is extensive featuring an excellent selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. Start with the signature tasting platter which features alloo tikki, samosas, onion bhajji, gobi and paneer pakora, and then launch into the mains. Just make sure you save room for a serve of mithai magic - the mouthwatering chef’s signature dessert served with custard and fruits to satisfy the Burrp experience. This is high quality, delicious and remarkable cooking that will surprise and delight you.

Best dish: melting murgh masala: boneless burpie style charcoal grilled chicken in special gravy.
