First time back since an extended overseas trip to catch up with great friends. Service impeccable and we were recognized despite the long absence.

Another great evening dinner and fantastic service, (granted it was in midweek). This time we had one of their banquets, which were fantastic & huge portion sizes, and as a result we were both stuffed afterwards. A bigger rice bowl portion, given the four mains we had would be an improvement. We also had a food discount voucher which they said wasn't applicable for the banquet we had, which we were a little disappointed with, but overall I truly recommend Indian Empire for its food & service.

Another Great Meal lamb vindaloo is my favourite if you like your indian hotter. Lots to choose from on the menu from mild up to hot so something to suit every one. Just ask staff if unsure they are really helpful.

Great food, good service, how have I not found this before? Book early as it looks to be quite busy.

Another Great meal, the consistency of the food each time is fantastic. Something for everyone from mild dishes to hot vindaloos, the naan breads are delicious and freshly made.

The entrees of mixed appetisers was obviously made hours and hours beforehand. Pastry was hard and horrible. Curries were just OK. Have had better elsewhere. Naan was good Raita serve was too small

Attentive service, well presented food with a few extras that made it a cut above your average Indian restaurant and more of a culinary experience. It’s a well run busy restaurant and we felt they genuinely cared if we enjoyed our visit.

About Indian Empire

Runaway India Not far from the clear waters of Runaway Bay you’ll find the Indian Empire restaurant offering all your Indian faves plus a few you may not have tried. It’s clear that regular diners are smitten with the food, which ranges from chicken saagwala, lamb korma, fish curry, prawn masala, assorted curries and more. You can dine in, or they’re happy to deliver. The décor is not your typical look at this kind of restaurant – they’ve gone in for subtle wall decorations and high-backed woven chairs giving the place an elegant and sophisticated vibe. Clearly enjoying loyalty from locals in the neighbouring suburbs, Indian Empire is worth a drive to check out the nearby water views. Then tuck into the fluffy jasmine rice and a basket of naan to mop up the juices left after you’ve devoured the dhinghri mattar (mushroom and pea curry) billed as a diner favourite. Best dish: Seafood platter with octopus, bugs, prawns and fish marinated in light spices and cooked in tandoor
