No parking for miles around. Called the restaurant to ask where to park, the girl said plenty of free parking on street. We drove around and around for 15 minutes, nowhere to park at all. Do not go when busy in Caloundra. There wasn’t anyone in the restaurant eating when we drove past several times looking for parking. A shame because their food is normally good! We had to go to another restaurant where parking was provided. Missed our booking. Disappointed!!

The food was great, but after asking for staggered courses it all came almost at once, main meals first then a five minute wait for rice as everything started to cool. Could be fantastic with better service, seems like they focus on their take aways.

I think the restaurant was understaffed to cope with the guest list - we went for a birthday and we had to cut the cake ourselves and did not receive clean plates or cutlery for it. The food was very nice, though did not offer their indian mexican fusion menu that night which was disappointing.

Really terrific tasty Indian food. We had Roti, Naan, Beef Korma, Chicken Jalfraji, Chicken Tikka Masala & a chickpea dish. All the dishes were well prepared and tasty

Lovely food, hot and delicious flavours. Service a little lacking in friendliness. Still would recommend.

Good value with an entertainment voucher. Curries were pretty average, more salty or sweet than spicy. Service time was good. Cheap and cheerful.

Love the genuine atmosphere at Indiyum, as well as very friendly service. Not too impressed that I had to pay for my take-away container, because I could not eat all my food—-considering that Indiyum also does take-away. My husband really enjoyed his lamb korma and garlic naan.

Average Indian curries and the Mexican slant is confusing.

We had the $25 per person feast, which included a piece of chicken tikka, spring rolls, 3 curries, dhal, onion bhaji, salad, rice, naan. This was served in a stainless steel airline-type segmented tray. A house wine or local beer was included. Definitely no frills and, while we had no real issues with the meal (you get what you pay for), it was not the best Indian food available on the coast. The curry sauces were all very much the same, and the meat in them not succulent and juicy...rather like pre-cooked. However, the service is cheerful, and helpful, and the place has character. If you just want a quick feed, for a good price, this is it. I also had a margarita, not entirely authentic but very enjoyable.
