A bit noisy in the dining room, and the air conditioning was blowing straight onto us. We ended up leaving as we were both cold.

Thanks, we had a much better experience with the Hotel Indooroopilly reservation system on Friday night in comparison to previous experiences. The Hotel Indooroopilly had placed 2 "reserved"signs on our table helping us to feel doubly happy with our reservation experience. Let's see what the future holds.

I'm writing to review the interface between the booking system at the hotel Indooroopilly and the fork reservation service. I asked at the hotel Indooroopilly for the best way to book a table for a Friday night and the waitress there suggested that I should use the fork service which I did. I received a notice in my email on Friday morning from the folk to remind me about the booking. I assume that the hotel Indooroopilly received a similar message. I showed up at the hotel Indooroopilly around 6:15 for our 6:30 reservation. I could only find one table that was reserved and I assumed that it was the table that I had booked through the fork. The hotel Indooroopilly doesn't have a seating service. There is no one assigned to seat people. So I sat at the only table with a reserved sign. About 5 minutes later the hostess approached me and said that the table where I was sitting was reserved for someone else. I told her that we had reserved a table through the fork, as she had recommended, and asked her about our reservations. We had a rather large group and we were told that there were no tables available to seat us all. She told us that they didn't have a booking for me. I showed her the notice from the fork, confirming our reservation for Friday night. She politely told me to sit in the lounge until a table became available. So we sat there for a short time and a table became available where two people had been sitting. Two people were sitting at a rather large table and got up and left or so we thought. So we sat down at that table and there was ample seats for everyone. Unfortunately, the people who left the table weren't leaving the restaurant. Rather they got up to order their food. When they returned, they saw all of us sitting there but they were quite understanding. So they went off and found a table for two. So the fork reservation system didn't work for us at the hotel Indooroopilly. Staff at the hotel Indooroopilly were not aware that we had made a reservation through the fork system. One suggestion that I can make to improve the fork reservation system is to have a click to confirm message sent both to the customer and to the service provider. So if both parties confirm, a message is sent by the fork system to both parties confirming the reservation. However, if only one party confirms, the system then gives the confirming party an option to call the other to confirm the reservation. I should emphasize that the problem we encountered wasn't a problem with the fork. Rather it was a problem with hotel Indooroopilly reservation system. We've had an ongoing problem with trying to book a table at the hotel Indooroopilly. I will usually call on Thursday night for a Friday night booking and we show up and there's no table booked for us. Otherwise, the food and service were fine at the hotel Indooroopilly.

Considering it was a public holiday, the service was good, the food cooked to perfection and fast. We were going to the movies and built in plenty of time to eat, thinking there might be delays, but no worries and were finished way early.
