The Moreton bay bugs were 100%, ocean trout seemed a little under done in the centre. Desserts arrived at different long interval times. Coffee was cold. I have enjoyed much better meals there before. Maybe just an off night.
Thanks for your review Antony and apologies for the issues you have highlighted, I have passed these on to the Restaurant Manager and chef to investigate. We appreciate you letting us know. I do hope you will come back soon, I'm sure you are aware that we take this kind of feedback seriously and that these types of issues don't usually occur.

Excellent service. I was traveling alone, and the wait staff did not treat me as second class, which is what often happens when traveling alone.

The staff need to care . The food was extremely disappointing and not up standard in taste or presentation.

The service was appalling. We chose Jellyfish because we had overseas visitors with us and wanted something special. Despite booking online our table was not ready & they behaved as though they knew nothing about our booking. The Chandon was poured into wine glasses and we were told "oops ah well you get more champagne! "They could not find the wine and eventually offered a substitute wine after most of us had finished our meal, it was awful eating without any wine while you wait & wait. We had to call the waitress over for water a number of times. The food was was okay but some of it was like an expensive version of cafe fish and chips. Very embarrassing and dissappointing and certainly not show casing great Australian food.

I am satisfied with the steamed vegetables and pumpkin dish. The fried fish tastes pretty good but not very healthy. The whole baked fish is not tender enough.

This use to be one of my all time favourite restaurants in Brisbane. The food last night was diabolical. Over cooked fish, uninspiring flavours and just generally not up to fine dining standards. Seriously disappointed and will not be returning again. There are too many options in Brisbane to be serving food at this low level.

Will definitely be returning.

About Jellyfish

Swimmingly good The team at Jellyfish aim to source and serve a school of 8 to 14 species of fish daily, and make effort to understand the textures and specific qualities of each species so that they can then recommend the best way to cook and serve it. And they are proud of the fact that the chefs create sauces, batters and crumbs as well as an extensive range of side dishes that perfectly compliment each and every dish. Sitting right on the riverfront, this is arguably the best located restaurant in Brisbane enjoying striking views of the river and the Story Bridge (trust us, it's something really special). The decor is fresh and bright with the lines between indoors and out delightfully blurred making it a great spot to dine all year round. The wine list is also stunning, presenting diners with wines from boutique, eclectic and lesser known vineyards as well as firm favourites from the new and old world. Service in the restaurant, the 35-seat Private Dining Room and in the newly expanded bar is always gracious, friendly and relaxed. Get here for a special occasion or for no reason at all! Best dish: anything from the 'fish menu'
