Our neighbourhod favourite! Consistently the best Indian around with the best Naan! Curries are sensational- you must try the pindicherry prawns- delicious! Wish we still lived in the area but a must visit each time we’re in Sydney. Tandoor is also wonderful.

I absolutely loved Jewel on the Bay, the service was second to none and I couldn’t be more impressed with the staff. Food was delicious too! Best Indian I’ve ever been to !

We went with a group so was great to try a few things and share. The menu had options that weren’t the typical Indian curries and we all enjoyed it

Very poor service. Despite pre-booking online, staff were not prepared for our requests.

About Jewel on the Bay

A cultural crossover During the day, the Jewel on the Bay is an Omni cultural café with many cuisines to be sampled, and Rose Bay locals often frequent it. But… at night, an Indian family takes over the kitchen and it contracts to a single identity, serving an array of curries and classic Indian dishes. The décor is simple, with large bronze plates hanging on the walls, and a huge big golden pot standing against one wall as the main feature of decoration. The food is pleasing, featuring some well-known Indian classics, and superb breads made in the tandoor. There is something for all – even for those who prefer less spice in their life. Best Dish: beef shahi korma with cashews and almonds.
