Fabulous
Great food great service great spot
First time at the Jindalee. We try out all different locals with my siblings & families. This was a really good night out. The staff were lovely. Well presented & polite. The food was fast & very good quality. I had a lovely birthday celebration tonight & would recommend as a lovely place to eat. Would definitely come back.
Good service. Meals came out quick and tasted good- the portions were also very generous with plenty of flavour . Will be back for a family meal next time. Thanks
Food is nice, beer is good. We had the combo meal which feed the 3 big teens well. We got pizza, pasta, fisherman catch and chicken wings. Very tasty. Lots of people on a Wednesday night.
Ordered the steak combo with garlic prawns. Steak was very chewy. Not a nice piece of steak at all
Great service and friendly staff, the happy hour discount was very good. Family oriented restaurant. Good suburban location. The mix combo was good for those who would like mix and match.
More choices available compared to other Australian Venue Co location!
I enjoyed the Seafood BBQ and it was good value for money due to the 50% off special we had during the Happy Hour. Hopefully the management would continue the Happy Hour special during the Covid19 Pandemic.
Very disappointed with the rude girl checking us in, firstly I booked online for table of 8, rang twice to see if any vaccanices for special, told no. Got there and raining, sat us (and only us) outside, table was sopping she used a napkin to wipe it, we then had to ask to move inside as getting wet, this seemed like an effort to her. Waited just over an hour for our meals (1 came 45 minutes), before the other 7. A staff member apologized to my husband and offered him a free desert, even tough ALL of us waited over an hour, was really strange. Meals were average, wouldn't come again if having to pay full price like we did, would of been ok for 50% deal, as you'd expect less 'love' in the meals I guess, trying to support local but they need to step up the service (ps the bar guy was great)
This is usually a great venue and the food is good. The only issue I have is that my booking keeps getting mucked up so we don’t have a trivia table and cutlery is rarely at the table or brought out with the food.
The restaurant was very clean and we were able to sign in on line. The staff were friendly and efficient and the service was excellent. Our orders were delivered promptly and were delicious.
Great deal for early meal in January. Good venue for a family gathering. Our meals came very quickly. Wait staff friendly and efficient. Children's playground handy.
Excellent food!
Went up for a quick bite and had a really lovely meal. Staff very attentive and friendly. Nice decor and comfortable.
The booking process was easy, a couple of reminder messages too. QR code’s required before seating, which is ok. Meals were good all round for table of 7, came out together too, which doesn’t always happen. Drinks a little pricey, $12.00+ for alcoholic ginger beer and Skoda water, but similarly priced elsewhere. We’ll be back again.
Lovely lunch. Speedy service, huge portions. Great value for money
It is VERY difficult trying to make a phone booking at the Jindalee for dinner- it was a no show again so made the booking on-line - we often visit the restaurant because the food is good and location is near but the phone situation has to be fixed - I wonder how many guests are put off by this and go elsewhere.
Service was very quick, but unfortunately the food was awful. Not one person enjoyed their meal in a table of 10. The ribs and wings combo was severely disappointing, the flavour was not nice and the rack of ribs were tiny. The Mousaka was weird tasting and the calamari was also below average.
My family were visiting from Mackay. All were very pleased with their meals. Good size and well presented in the plate. Excellent service by the staff.
My meal tasted like it had been sitting for a while. the chips were limp and just warm. I had The BBQ Seafood and the prawns and Calamari were very over seasoned. I had to send my grandson’s meal back as he had ordered a baked potato and had chips served on his meal. The kitchen appeared to be more focused on serving takeout meals than than their in house guests. I had to go to the bar to ask for water for the table.

Need to feed an army?
Located a short ten minutes west of Brisbane's city centre, you will find the Jindalee Hotel & Functions Centre. This large, open venue is home to a sports bar, games room and of course the Roadhouse Grill restaurant. Giving you plenty of room to move, this relaxed environment opens out into a big courtyard, with a great outdoor dining options.
The Roadhouse grill bistro offers a large array of succulent steaks, seafood and all your loved traditional pub favourites. Get some pork on your fork and dig into some pulled pork sliders on a brioche bun or go for gold and take on a rack of sticky BBQ pork ribs served with smoky sauce.
The food is so big, it could feed an army, though if you don't have an army then you could always bring your family! Your kiddies will enjoy playing on the outdoor playground whilst Mum and Dad relax in the restaurant.
