Very good, out of the way spot for very nice food and generous serves. Not a huge range of choice but quite adequate. Excellent wine especially the Pinot Noir. Well worth a visit and lunch..
This was our first trip out to dine after being locked away for the last 3 months and we were warmly greeted at the door. After sanitising and having our names taken we were shown to our table - distance appropriately from other diners. Our meals were lovely - very tasty & the Jones Road Pinot really complemented our dishes. We shared a sticky date pudding which also delightful - would happily recommend this Cellar Door to anyone travelling to the Mornington Peninsula for the day.
Had a lovely lunch in a beautiful setting
A nice little restaurant.Service was prompt and our host very genial and informative.Food was excellent and generous helpings. Will go there again in the future.
Lovely relaxed environment for delicious Sunday lunch. The Pinot noir was fantastic .
What a beautiful spot, very picturesque with a lovely atmosphere. The service was very welcoming and friendly and food was lovely, chef went above and beyond to make sure we got what we wanted. Thank you.
Great homemade style food and very fresh. Quiet setting and very welcoming owner Rob and his team. Enjoyed our meals and friendly service. Took my children and family for the first time and they want to return.
A nice small winery with delicious home cooked meals. There isn’t a lot of options on the menu but all dishes we ate were of high quality and came out quickly and altogether. Dishes were on the expensive side but due to their quality I didn’t mind paying. Dining area was set up nicely, and was welcoming, they had a fire going but it was still a little bit fresh inside for me, but I do get cold easily. The phone number wasn’t working so couldn’t contact them directly, have advised owner of issue when we arrived. My husband said the wine was good quality and thoroughly enjoyed his birthday lunch here. Thank you for a lovely afternoon and we would definitely come here again.
Gorgeous rustic venue with exceptional host and staff.
Fabulous Sunday lunch. Great food and wine. Fantastic service. A really lovely place to go for relaxed meal. Arrive hungry.
Lovely outside in good weather. Very nice home style cooking.
Always a pleasure dining at Jones Rd Cellar, both the staff and food exceptional. Great atmosphere, especially this time of year with the fire.
Another lovely lunch. Many thanks Rob.
Wonderful winter menu on a cold and miserable day. Such a friendly welcome and great service.
We thoroughly enjoyed the duck liver pate, minestrone soup and the beef bourguignon was absolutely superb. Accompanied by lovely fresh breads. The wine list boasts the Jones Road pinot noir is the Peninsula's best and I agree! Thank you Rob and Sue.
The food and wine were delicious and the service was on point. Totally recommend. Was a very laid back Saturday lunch. Great way to spend my birthday with the family
Wonderful atmospheric restaurant Service is second to none & Rob the host is very personable. Our roast pork was home cooked & accompanied by a great selection of perfectly cooked vegetables. The selection of Jones Road wine is also very good & well priced
Cosy and inviting atmosphere. Food was home cooked and delicious.
Lovely friendly staff and great atmosphere.
Can be a little noisy but not off-putting. Excellent staff and host

Comfort food with a glass of wine. The converted barn setting at Jones Road lends a old-world tone to this winery/restaurant and this theme is reflected in the dishes coming from its kitchen. Pull up a chair beneath a towering ceiling of exposed wooden beams and run your eyes over the menu which is filled with simple, homely meals such as wood fired pizzas, homemade soup and a super tasty ploughman’s lunch. On Sundays, Jones Road serves up a classic Sunday roast, cooked in a woodfired oven and paired with veggies pulled from the winery’s garden. If you’re in the mood for comfort food and a good glass of wine then this is the place. Best Dish: ploughmans lunch
