We were recommended this restaurant by our son and we were not disappointed. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The grounds of the winery and the restaurant were impeccable. We had the oysters and the zucchini entree and both were delicious. The mains we had were beef cheek and trevally. They were well presented and lovely to eat. We highly recommend this winery restaurant and hope to return.
Without a doubt the best dining establishment in Launceston.Great food great service and an outstanding vista to enjoy when dining. It is a definite must return for us when having visitors from interstate.
Well worth the cost
All was just fine Service lacked warmth and some skills Starters great Flavours very good also Land rump was inedible, spoilt my experience Tough, untrimmed, fatty, the little meat there was very rare. Of course all left on the plate. ‘How was your meal’ I was asked. My no answer was met by the plate being cleared and shovelled into the bin, chefs unaware ... Location terrific
Amazing ambience, good food and wine!
Should not miss the beautiful garden ????
Superb welcome and wine tasting before our lunch - an experience in itself!! Very tasty food, but let down by a long delay and a small issue with cutlery which we pointed out but it wasn’t remedied straight away - however the manager on duty eventually sorted it out for us by offering a bottle of wine. Overall, recommended.
Great experience overall. Had the beef cheek, which was melt in your mouth delicious, cooked to perfection and seasoned well. Pork was well cooked and had a lovely blend of flavours. Staff were able to accommodate and make suitable wine suggestions. Although it was busy and a little noisy, the views were stunning and natural. Would definitely recommend to others.
Had the shared plates for $75 each. Excellent. Great wine to accompany. Good service & lovely atmosphere & setting. My second time there & it wont be the last.
Great produce friendly captain Maurice as professional as ever, Spock and span clean kitchen and great kitchen team always hard at work
We had a group of 6 and booked the 4 course set menu. We had a beautiful table by a window looking out onto a lush grassy garden. The food was superb and the matching wines delicious. The Josef Chromy sparkling rose in particular was fabulous. Staff were all great and gave us all a very relaxed, friendly Tasmanian gourmet experience.
Our second visit and as good as we remember. Great setting for lunch, especially sitting on the verandah. Beef carpaccio as entree and roast cauliflower as main with a glass of Zdar Chardonnay - absolutely perfect
The Lamb was too fatty also the background music could have been softer, struggled to hear other people sitting across from me on the same table.
What a fantastic place to have lunch. Everything was simply amazing. I would highly recommend the 4 course surprise menu. The wine was beautiful.
We chose the tasting menu with matching wines. It was excellent.
This was the second time dining, it is a lovely restaurant. The food is wonderful, spoilt for choices. The service is attentive. Look forward to dining again.
Lovely scenic view from our table. Beautiful fresh tasty food and excellent service from Natalia.
Magnificent food. We tried the lamb, pork kimchi and boar fish - all cooked to perfection. They certainly set the bar very high. Very reasonably priced for the outstanding quality of food and service.
Great spot and top winery venue in the area
Great venue, friendly staff and outstanding food! The menu had an interesting selection, and the side dishes were very imaginative. Well worth a visit!
