The food was creative and delicious, and the staff were very kind and informative! We were seated in a wonderful window seat with views of the old mansion and the gardens, which was wonderful.
What a wonderful surprise. Joseph's has excelled in providing a great dining experience. The setting of Joseph's in a grand building with views to an exquisite parterre garden is a breath-taking welcome. And the welcome of the staff was very warm. It was also clear that the staff enjoy working there! The menu superb - a choice of an express lunch or full degustation was great. The presentation of the food was inspired and while this item was not on the menu as such, the freshly baked rye bread, pepperberry infused olive oil and smoked butter with ash was fantastic. Keep it up! And I'll be back
Small variety set menu. Entree and mains were delicious. Dessert was good. Service was very good. Really liked the complimentary freshly baked and warm spelt bread with local marinated olives and herb-infused oil as starter. All dishes were nicely presented. Would visit again. Lovely view of the gardens from the restaurant.
We come here every year for Christmas Eve and we were expecting an a la carte menu as usual but were disappointed to find this no longer the case. We found the degustation to have limited choices and over priced
Lunch limited to set menu. Waited 5 min to be seated and another 15 to get a menu despite only 2 other tables occupied. Food was lovely
Food was lovely, not a large choice of dishes but very happy with what we ordered.
A lovely lunch for a friend’s birthday
Whilst many would consider it expensive or at least very indulgent we really enjoyed the 7 course degustation we had for lunch. The food was innovative, very tasty and nothing like anything we would make at home- the whole reason for eating out. Service was professional and attentive.
The food was pretentious to say the least. Tiny portions and at $95 a head hardly value for money. Not surprised we were one of only two tables occupied that day. The wait staff were attentive but if you have to explain your menu to that degree you may want to simplify it .
Food was ok. Garden was very nice though.
Very good service friendly and helpful
Food was unimpressive for the cost. Service was slow. We were there longer than we needed to be because we were constantly waiting for service. It was a definite a let down.
It will be a good place to dine when you are staying in-house at the Mansion
Very busy during their lunchtime trade which explained the slow service
Fantastic gluten free options which tasted so good. No compromises. Our new family favourite. Meals were very quick and quality was outstanding!
Josephs is one of my favorite restaurants! Besides the food always being scrumptious the atmosphere and the views are wonderful! Makes you forget your in suburbia. Tranquility at its best!
This restaurant should be fantastic......but the terrible service and lacklustre adjacent bar really disappointed :(
Always a great meal and attentive staff
The food was amazing but the service was very slow!
Food was very nice and service excellent. I would have liked to see a few more options on the menu.
