Excellent
Perfect local Italian. Busy night but service was excellent and food yummy. Atmosphere is great and music outstanding! Tried the pasta tonight but looking forward to the Pizza’s next time!
I've been to Karoo and Co a few times and never been disappointed. There's always a great atmosphere and the food is excellent. It's always busy too which is as good a recommendation as any. Until next time ...
Great food at a reasonable price, wonderful staff and probably one of the best places I've been to in the local area. I'll be sure to eat here again.
A family favorite. Delicious food, including dessert. Great drinks options. The staff are efficient and provide a really friendly service. Good atmosphere, always a nice buzz with background music, people chatting and the smell of the great food.
This restaurant is in an out of the way, but convenient location, with friendly service and good quality food. It’s a regular haunt for me that I’m happy to recommend.
Great experience, although would have been good to have been told we needed to leave by 7:30pm at the time we made the booking online, and not once we arrived.
Made a reservation for a birthday celebration on Friday night but unfortunately it was forgotten. However damage control by the management was done very quickly and efficiently that a group of us still felt very welcome and we enjoyed our evening at Karoo & Co regardless of the hiccup. Food was delish. Service was very attentive and lovely. And atmosphere’s nice and lively as a Friday night should be. It’s a local gem and we’ll be returning for more good memories. By the way they make the best chai latte from my daytime experiences ????????
We booked through The Fork but didn’t realize there was a 1.5 hour sitting (the booking confirmation didn’t mention this). Catelyn was really accommodating and overall service from waitstaff was wonderful. Food was great. Our only request was to turn down the music which was bouncing off the corrugated tin feature wall (which was done straightaway, especially as one of our group is hearing impaired). We are regulars at the St Ives Karoo and it was nice to try the sister restaurant.
The restaurant is a lovely neighborhood gem. Have been a few times and food has been consistently good. The pizza bases have a satisfying texture (a bit chewy, slightly crispy, not to thick or thin) and flavors of the toppings are good. Pastas are delicious. Fish tacos were interesting but surprisingly good - loved the combo of spicy dressing and crispy fish. Didn’t like the arancini balls though, which didn’t taste as good as the other choices on the menu - could just be a personal preference.
Good food and efficient service! Neighbourhood gem.
Friendly service and attentive
food and atmosphere were nice
heart warming place??
Food was excellent, service was good, however it was quite cold inside the restaurant. They do have diners outside and the front door kept opening and closing which is not help to keep the heat inside the restaurant. But did enjoy the night,
the only problem we had was a changed booking date hadn’t been passed on to the restaurant, so they had no table ready for our booking of 6
Loved this place. Will definitely be back.
