Pls bring back the charred edamame with the salted kombu butter and salmon on a stick! Aside from that great food and cocktails (had 3 In Blooms) and tried a few other ones too - all very nice! Good service and value for money.

Absolutely shocking service. Completely inattentive and forgetful. Forgot a dish we ordered, forgot to bring out spoons when requested. Unable to get anyone’s attention numerous times for minutes. Some of the dishes were great, some were just reasonable. Would not return, especially given the service.

Great Friday lunch. wine list is succinct but has some great choices. food is amazingly fresh and varied. Service with a smile - and attentive enough most of the time

Compared to previous visits, this time was a let down and left feeling disappointed. There was a fine fish bone in the fish skewer which was quite surprising. For 3 people, the degustation portions were not sufficient as this was suited for 2 people. Dessert was served as tasting platter of 3 bite size items but previous visits the degustation was a full size dessert. Overall experience including wait staff was underwhelming and will be a while until I revisit again.

I adore this restaurant! The dishes are interesting, delicious, creative, different, complimentary - works of art on a plate. The decor is superb, the service is impeccable, the wines are beautiful. I have been here on several occasions for lunch & dinner and I simply can’t fault it. I have recommended Kid Kyoto to so many people & they have all fallen in love with it. It’s my absolute favourite restaurant.
