Poor overall service from friendly staff (no clean wine glasses?)(long wait for simple drink order etc.) very poor acoustics - hard to converse amongst ambient sound. Last visit I think.
Appreciated the 30% off deal. Not sure if the meals would have been good value otherwise. The barramundi was nice but the accompanying side salads was not substantial. Had to ask for lemon which was promptly and graciously provided. Adequate meal but nothing special
Delicious meals and attentive service
Food was delicious service was perfect
The waiting time was to long because we had to get to the theatre but they offered us free drinks afterwards
Music was a bit doof doof loud but the staff were great
Food was surprisingly good for a restaurant attached to an hotel. Dishes were thoughtfully presented with balanced flavours. Only criticism is the food took a long time to come out given there weren't many people in the restaurant at the same time, they seemed to be short-staffed as the main waitress was also serving customers at the bar in a separate section.
The food was delicious and the service was great. The only let down for me was dessert and maybe the noise. But overall a good meal.
Nice food and friendly service. Check it out if you're around the area.
Service is excellent & foods are above average. The seize of the fish for fish for the day is too small to be main.
Great spot. Very friendly
Overall experience mediocre. Fish of the day and lamb special portion was very very tiny but the pork and steak portions were decently sized.
Delicious. Had the slow cooked lamb and it truly melted in the mouth. Will be back.
Service was friendly and pleasant but our pork was dry
Superb service. Some tasty options such as the cured salmon. The saltimbocca was unfortunately lacking any 'jump in the mouth' taste. You could barely taste the sage. Beef short ribs was tender and tasty. The white wine was good value. Got a soft seat which was asked for in the special comments, so it was good to see they actually looked.
Surprisingly for a hotel restaurant, this is actually very good. We were surprised with the quality of the food and they were delicious. Definitely coming back for more
Service is great, the waitresses were nice. *Pork saltimbocca - a little bit over cooked as the meat was bit hard. *Braised lamb - the meat was soft and flavourful! But the greens come with it were burned ;( We also had chips and roasted veges as sides which were ok. The chocolate melting pot is very rich and sweet, however I feel like it’s bit too much coz you’ll mostly be eating chocolate sauce.
The food was quite decent. We had a mushroom risotto and the steak for mains. The rissotto was not mushroom enough in our opinion. The steak was very nicely done.
Food was okie.. the sides was disappointing, we ordered the potatoes but it was actually mashed, the market vegetables looks like just frozen veggies and the fries (more like chips) was just warm.. service was super slow, wasn’t busy but the staff just didn’t pay too much attention to our table..
Was very disappointed the cured salmon meal came without the advertised toasted macadamias, then asked server & she brought me a little bowl of nuts to scatter on, these didn't look like macadamia & after I tasted them I asked server again & she came back saying they were a mixture also including walnuts which I told her I am allergic to, this is a big mistake on the restaurant kitchen, should not supply something that isn't on menu especially where nuts are involved. They apparently don't have individual separate nuts, they need to address this as the macadamia was one of the main reasons I ordered that dish.
