The food was good (simple but good) and the service was above, really nice people. They allowed us to try the wine before choosing our bootle. We ate the menu with the 50% discount. This was valuable thanks to the discount, however I would be disappointed if I had to paid full price. The menu doesn’t worth 110$. Nice dinner, nice atmosphere.

Nice ambient and dishes well presented
Hi there, glad you enjoyed your experience at No.1 Bent Street. You should come in and visit us again as we have now rebranded to Kitchen by Mike. We are open for breakfast and lunch in a more casual, cafeteria style setting, and still open for table service at dinner, with many of our top dishes from Bent St still available. Hope to see you soon!

Everything was decent although the roast potatoes were so salty no one enjoyed them.

The scallops were cooked well but the texture of the crumb was sandy/gritty and tasted like burnt bread. The groper was very good, the leak was nice but over priced for such a Simple dish, the broccoli had anchovy dressing but the anchovy was hardly tasted. The wine list is very poor, only one type of wine per type and those choices were very poor. Considering All the beautiful wines in Australia, it's hard to fathom they were the only choices

Friendly attentive service despite a full restaurant with good advice on the number and range of dishes to suit our group’s mix of dietary requirements. Keep it up No 1 Bent. By the way, we like the fact you’re changing name to Kitchen by Mike, the same as his excellent cook book. We’re coming back!

Second time to visit this restaurant. The food is good. However it is very noisy in this restaurant. The patrons are mostly after work people who tended to talk or yell loudly during the meal. It had really spoiled the dinner with lovely food. I will recommend your restaurant to people only warning them beware of the noise.

This was my 2nd visit. The food is fantastic and the wine list is good. The atmosphere is a bit canteen-ish, but that's ok for a casual dinner with friends.
