Fantastic food and service as usual. The crunchy chicken was delicious and sushimi was best quality with lovely glass of wine to match. Can’t wait to return for more great food
We were off to the theatre, which the restaurant had been recommended for, so timing was a concern and we mentioned that. However, the place was busy and maybe not quite enough serving staff. Took ages to order because most of the whte wines were unavailable so we had to go back to the menu to choose. I was unable to order what I wanted because of the time required to prepare the dish (would have been helpful for that to be noted on the menu - led to further delay). Then we seemed to wait a while for food and drink which made it all a bit stressful. I don't know what oil they use for grilling but not one I liked - so dishes I normnally love - gyoza for example - had a taste to it that I didn't like it. Might be authentic but not for me.
Loved it. It was indeed a neighbourhood gem. There were so many reasonably priced options to eat and at the time we arrived (few minutes before 7pm), they also offered the Happy Hour rate for meal sets and beer.
Good, quick service and great food. Perfect before heading off to The Hayes theatre
The early dining offer is perfect if you like bento boxes. Service not really attentive as we had finished plates of food not being cleared on our table.
Friendly helpful staff. Nice atmosphere
We have been coming to Kujin for many years (8 at least) and while we understand that there is inflation, etc, it was a sad realisation that the menu variety and portion sizes (especially of sushi rolls, okonomiyaki) have been downsized. Still a good local restaurant but not as great as before.
lovely neighbourhood gem
A fantastic location very close to the theatre. Prompt service made for an excellent pre-theatre dinner.
Parking is hardest thing to achieve
Great place to eat before a show at Hayes Theatre. Food delicious and well presented.
Food and service was great! Friendly staff and fast food serving! Want to visit again!
Great food and service as always
I love the Okonomiyaki and Kushiyaki.
Fantastic as always thanks Kujin
Food was good, Beer was cheap. we had great time.
Service could really be better. The food is good, but portion size and standards have fallen somewhat.
Lovely food and service
Food and services are nice
Waited more than one hour to get my food served and my 3 other friends already finished eating their dish before mine arrived and I was starving...
