My husband and I love coming here. Insanely beautiful food. My only crticism is that I am prenant and couldnt enjoy all the beautiful cocktails and wines! Cant wait to come back.
Excellent combination of food, ambiance and service.
Always a pleasure to dine at Kyubi
There were some new dishes on the menu which we wanted to try. We started with Steamed Scallops with XO sauce, followed by the Steamed Duck & Mushroom Momo and the Braised Duck & Quail Egg Rice Noodles. For mains we had the Slow Braised Pork Kong Tau Yew Bak accompanied with what I call is their signature Special Fried Rice. The meal was shared with a bottle of Penley Estate Tolmer Cabernet Sauvignon 2017, Coonawarra, SA. Again, another wonderful night for my wife and I of dining out at Kyubi. We even had the chance to meet the chef and his crew to thank them for the wonderfully prepared cuisine. All in all, tonight was an 11 out of 10 experience. I often look back at other diners reviews, an as they do, can't fault the food or the experience at this restaurant thus giving well deserved high points, although I note there is one reviewer keen on giving critical remarks and low points. I put my name to my comments and therefore don't put much credence in reviews from anonymous or just someone's initials, but unfortunately it does have an impact on the restaurants standing. In ref to AA's recent reviews, you seem to frequent Kyubi a lot. If your not a ghost, I suggest you contact the staff as they are always willing to listen to any critique both good or bad. Regards, Peter Brookes.
Great atmosphere service and food. Can’t go wrong. Had many different dishes and all were superb. We dine here regularly and are never disappointed.
Service was excellent, all food on the taster menu was delicious and healthy, great atmosphere and highly recommended for a special night out.
Always fabulous food & atmosphere . A lot of different dishes. The only place I go when I visit Campbelltown. In fact ,l only visit Campbelltown to go to Kyubi.
Food was delicious. Meat was cooked perfectly. We ordered ‘Crying tiger’ this was not as chilli as I was expecting. And scallops were cooked well but the bread over powers their delicate taste. ????
We have dined here many times and Kyubi never disappoints, Madeleine and her staff are not only excellent in their roles but go above and beyond to make us feel special every time we dine there.
In all honesty, you go to Kyubi for the atmosphere (and the cocktails). While the food is presented phenomenally well and the quality is high, the serving sizes (and quite often, the flavours) are likely to be equal of better at an authentic Asian restaurant. They don't beat the interior or ambience of Kyubi, though. It's a great dining spot for Campbelltown, definitely in the Top 5 for overall experience.
Probably one of the only few fine dining restaurants in Campbelltown. Food is amazing, service is prompt & efficient. Love the decor and layout
The service and food is excellent. I’ve been here for dinner 4 times now and every single time the food and service has been excellent and has never disappointed.
Really enjoyed the ambiance , friendly and excellent service from all the staff at Kyubi. Loved the tasting menu and personalised chocolate bar for my hubby’s birthday.
Thank you it was a lovely dining experience where I couldn't fault anything. Friendly staff, great food and atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Great food Service and Decor. Best in its class in this area. Truly Amazing, Thankyou
Hidden away inside of the Campbelltown Catholic Club and is a must try! We were pleasantly surprised by the class of restaurant. The Staff were amazing and the food was delightful. Perfect for our Anniversary Dinner. Loved the Decor and the food was well presented and tasted amazing! We will definately be going back!
Great service, beautiful food
Kyubi had a a wonderful, intimate atmosphere even though it is in a large space. The staff were so friendly, they knew their menus and could make well informed suggestions about what to order. We settled upon the tasting menu and were blown away by the quality, look and flavours of the food presented. It was definitely an experience to savour and we can't wait to go back!
A fantastic meal once again at Kyubi.
I love the idea of Kyubi. The atmosphere, the decor, the concept as a whole. I consider Kyubi the closest thing to "fine dining" one can find in Campbelltown and I've sampled perhaps 20 or so dishes from the menus since they launched a few years back. Unfortunately, the food fails to deliver on flavour. Presentation is lovely; there is not great value for money as the portion sizes are rather small for the prices charged but the main issue is the flavours have almost never lived up to the simple traditional flavours you can find in most neighbourhood restaurants. Yes, the servingware is prettier and the delicate (read: small) serves are more visually appealing however it's flavour and value for money that diners are after. I do return to try new dishes about twice per year and I'm much more likely to be bowled over by just how tasteless a dish is than I am to be wowed by a dish. After my last experience there, I must concede the atmosphere is really the main drawcard. That and the bar. Kyubi's cocktails never fail to impress and when compared with the cost of the food, they are fantastic value for money! The bar lifts my ratings as I've dined here often enough now to confidently say tge food us below average. Unfortunately. I really want to love Kyubi!

Sharing our passion for traditional Asian flavours, culinary adventures and great conversations, Ky?bi Modern Asian Dining aspires to create a dining experience that brings people together over the love of food.
Named after the mythical 9 Tail Fox, the Ky?bi features as folklore in many East Asian cultures. To us, the 9 tails represent the various Asian cultures from which we draw our inspiration and flavours.
Culinary visionary Peter Sheppard (previously of Caveau and MoChi Dining) and our team of experienced chefs, have collaborated to bring years of experience and knowledge to the Ky?bi kitchen. Each dish aspires to honour traditional Asian flavours and will take guests on a journey along the Mekong River to create a unique synergy of tradition and modern execution.
All journeys are better when they are shared - as are our dishes. We encourage you to try our tasting menu which is always evolving and is the ideal way to experience the many flavours of Ky?bi.
