I had a really pleasant experience at La Bocca Bar & Grill. Food and drinks were great, especially the sangria! You have to try it, one of the best I’ve ever had. Great experience overall, I would go again.

Express lunch special is a great deal, however i'd like to see the option to add a glass of wine to the "extras" as only beer was offered.

I had a very late in the evening booking for 13 friends - 9.15 pm. La Boca kept in touch with me, which was nice. I was able to advise that we were running a bit late, being mindful of the time that the kitchen closed. We arrived and were warmly greeted. Service was very good and not at all rushed. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meal and the wine / drinks they ordered. My skirt steak was so tender, fabulous. Could not fault the meal.

Great food, the service was ok, but they ran out of Corona, but that ended up being a good thing as we got tap beers on the house. I'm going back again next week.

Good steaks. Only OK service. As a solo diner, felt a little forgotten at times.

About La Boca Bar & Grill

The most authentic Argentinean in Australia La Boca is quite simply, a stunning and wildly colourful place to visit. Not only in the actual décor which is a kaleidoscope of bright chairs, multi-coloured lights and stark colourful painting on the wall, but in the amazing creations bought out of the kitchen from South American chef Nicolas Arriola. The plates are impeccably designed using the freshest ingredients and prepared with the hope that the dishes will be shared, as is the South American way. The wine list holds a wide selection of international wines and beers and the open plan kitchen means you can see your chefs preparing and cooking everything in front of you. Their Asador grill is handcrafted in Argentina and has Australian red gum and Argentinean charcoal which enhances the flavours of the meat which is slow cooked and can be smelt through the entire restaurant. An absolute treat to visit and located in the heart of the city, you will have an unforgettable experience here. The kids menu is also fabulous with an upgraded version available to add in desserts and extras. Best dish: Home smoked Pork Ribs
