Adrian Richardson's focus is on good produce, handled with care. When Adrian is not at La Luna or Bouvier he can be seen on Good Chef Bad Chef, Secret Meat Business & Richo's bar snacks.

What a fantastic night and we all had probably the best steaks of our lives. Service was great and I even got to meet and have a photo taken with Richo !!

Cracking meal and worth the trip from Sydney to see whether the reputation was worthy. Apart from no Kipfler potatoes as they ran out(who runs out of spuds?!) the meal, service and wine recommendations were first class

About La Luna Bistro

A Meat Master At this rustic-chic corner shop front restaurant, it’s all about meat. Chef and hands-on meat man Adrian Richardson's easygoing ways and nose-to-tail food philosophy are always on show at this much loved, long standing restaurant in Rathdown Village. Highly regarded for the quality of the house-aged beef, Richardson also offers a number of other tasty meats, many of which are hand made. From crackling wrapped pork, to generous lamb shoulders and house-made cotechino sausage, it’s clear Richardson has a real meaty skill. This lofty-ceilinged space with bentwood chairs and fence-wire chandeliers is a charming neighbourhood gem that’s perfect for a meat feast. Just don’t bring your vegetarian friends along. We’re not so sure they’ll approve. Best dish: dry-aged, on-the-bone rib-eye
