This is my fifth visit..Food is delectable. The main sized dessert was a normal size. The staff were indifferent yesterday. Michael who has served us in the past was amazing.

Picturesque, historic venue, tables beautifully laid out on a shady vine-adorned verandah. You have to ASK for their café menu (glad I knew about it from previous visits) as staff only present the (more expensive) à la carte menu to diners. Food tasty and well-presented.

It was a fairly average restaurant. Have to say I was expecting something a little more special for the location and price. Nothing in particular to complain about, but nothing to rave about either. Some attention to lighting wouldn't go amiss - no one really wants to eat with a spotlight on them. Candles anyone?

Entree prices are set too high for the average lunch customer

Nice location. food was not bad - just above average. For the price, I would expect slightly better, but guess you are paying for the location.

nice atmosphere but food can be improved

Lovely setting amidst the green park lands. Unfortunately the waiter looking after our group seemed to lack experience & was unfamiliar with the menu. Service was very slow, close to 1hr wait before all the meals for our group of 13 arrived at the table, which left the younger kids very hungry. An order for Scotch Fillet (medium rare) was cooked to medium well. While this was fixed by the kitchen, there was another significant delay for the meal to be served. We loved the setting & that we could go for a walk after lunch, just very unfortunate about the service
