Cocktail hour yet? Lamont’s Wine Store in Cottesloe is kinda like a wine bar, kinda like a bistro. While the emphasis here is on amazing wines, they certainly don’t skimp on the food. Their seasonal tapas menu gives you so much to choose from, you can complement your evening inebriant with fresh and seasonal foods from WA. Their starters really set the pace with gob-stuffers such as duck parfait and venison chorizos. And their tapas can be does as sides or as mains with seafood surprises like whiting, blue swimmer crab and grilled tiger prawns. Mouth-watering meats include crisped quail and a Chinese Szechuan style steak. Sorry? Oh right, the wine list. They’ve got the best local and international wines you could dream of, usually imported direct from Euro-cellars to be enjoyed at the bar or bought to take away.
