Excellent service, friendly and charming staff, wonderful food, overall a lovely experience. Would recommend to all my friends and some of my enemies too!
Staffs are great. The food is good but not as good as I am expecting it. Ordered wagyu 9+ which I expect a lot from it turns out that it is almost the same as 4+ marbling with a lot cheaper price in Japan. Spicy saffron dish doesn't taste good according to me and the oysters are the best after all.
I thought the wine was very over priced. An amazing lexicon however, but I just thought there wasn’t enough variety for some less expensive choices
The restaurant itself is smart with beautiful artwork scattered around the walls. The service is impeccable and the waiters are very attentive. The food is flavourful and utilizes a range of local producers. Some of the dishes were smaller than expected and quite pricey but it was a great overall experience.
Could not have been better.
Excellent food, I had steak which was cooked well. It was for me a little under seasoned but I am a salt lover so find this every time I eat steak out. The duck fat potatoes were terrific and the pavlova was terrific with just the right lightness and hint of chewiness that signifies a good pav.. The best thing about the restaurant however was the warm friendly and extremely knowledgeable service.
We enjoyed a wonderful evening. Great service and wine advice along with delicious steaks and vegetables. Will go back next time we visit Hobart
The venue and food was amazing with good knowledgeable service and an amazing wine room and art work. The only negative that I had was the cheese board that was in the main dinning area which although quite aromatic it did influence the dinning experience with the bold aromas of the cheese affecting the meal. Might be worth rethinking this part of the evening and changing the location of the cheese board to rectify the only negative point I had.
The Landscape Restaurant & Grill had a charming atmosphere. The staff were more than happy to accommodate any request, and made sure we were looked after. The menu was full of delicious options and we were not disappointed by the food chosen.
Beautiful meal, great service.
The sommeiller was first class. Great experience.
Beautiful restaurant, intimate setting, friendly, knowledgable and attentive staff. Food was amazing and I loved the wide selection of quality Tassie wines.
Have been there a dozen times, and no disappointments.
Service was impeccable until the very end. We told them that was all and asked for the bill. We waited for over 10 minutes and then had to get up and wait at the cash register for several more minutes before being attended to. The meal itself was lovely and being as it is not a cheap place to dine, the last bit of the experience really let the whole evening down.
Thoroughly enjoyed our evening celebrating wedding anniversary.
Amazing, tender, succulent steaks
Beautiful restaurant with fabulous, knowledgeable staff. The atmosphere is really lovely with low lighting, tables not too close to each other and beautiful paintings on the wall. The food was superb, great quality ingredients and flavours. I went there to celebrate my 40th birthday and this restaurant helped to make it very special.
A five star meal with exceptional quality from the food to the furnishings. The one note that really put me off though was I spent $170 per head and they charged me $8 for a side of mustard with the steak. That was beyond cheeky and quite rude. It was disrespectful to the customer (me) who was happy to pay the significant premium already.
Elegant location surrounded with fine art, good space between tables, comfortable chairs, soft surfaces keep the ambient noise level right down. Good menu and incredible wine list. Service up to the level it should be for this style of restaurant. Not cheap but you get what you pay for.
The food was exquisite and the service was superb. Our servers went out of their way to make sure our steaks were cooked the way we liked it and assisted us with deciding on the extensive wine list that would satisfy all who come in for a meal. I also like when our server explained the history of why the restaurant was named Landscapes and the oil paintings were amazing. Definitely a worth while visit and I recommend everyone who is visiting Hobart to give it a go. You will leave satisfied!
