It’s not so easy to find a restaurant that offers indoor dining in a climate controlled environment where you don’t have to deal with smoking, bad music or loud conversation from fellow customers. Getting the right size portions is also a challenge these days between dishes bring too small or too big. In addition, a timely and courteous service is pretty rare with staff being either too busy or breathing down on you. And finally, it’s pretty rare that all dishes that the entire table orders are well executed and presented but not at this restaurant. The chef and his staff hit high notes in every aspect creating a very special and memorable dining experience that one would be happy to recommend. Bravo!
Super repas je recommande
Grande maitrise de la cuisine d’excellence ! Bravo
With so many food options in Marseille, it’s hard to choose where to go. In our opinion, this is the best restaurant for exquisite French cuisine and value! We appreciated the hospitality and attention of the wait-staff. They made us feel like royalty and explained & recommended menu items in english when possible. Every course was delightful, starting with the Tarte Parmesan and the Corse Sausage. The atmosphere was incredible and relaxing. 10/10 would visit again! Don’t miss an opportunity to eat at Lauracée.
Excellent service and great meals!
A little bit of a disapointment, according to reviews. However food good but there were an impossible confusment with languish. It could be an advice that at least one of the staff understands english
Attention c’est addictif...!????
Friendly welcome and good service. No music in the restaurant, which made it very quiet as we were the first in the place. We both ordered the fois gras as entrée, which had a nice flavour but three thin slices was served with two large buns, split and toasted. It was way too much bread for the quantity of paté. Biggest disappointment was the main. We both had the "signature dish" of evening, which was the volaille de Bresse, cooked in a heavy iron dish with potatoes, wild mushrooms and a cream sauce. The flavour was lovely, but it was bloody near the bone and had to be sent back twice. The apology? "We have a French chef". Any chef charging 44€ for chicken should know how to cook it perfectly.
Très bien !
Excellent food and service.
Une adresse à recommander!
When I spent a couple of months in Marseille 7 years ago, this was one of my "go to addresses". So I was anxious to see how it had evolved over time. Some of its concurrents are no longer of the same quality. The chef here continues to pursue and inventive cuisine with an emphasis on quality of ingredients, of preparation and of presentation. I tole the chef at the end of the meal that he "vector" continues in the upward direction. A good place to eat a good quality meal.
Excellent Christmas eve dinner and impeccable personalized service. Wonderful Marseilles experience
Plats rien d’exep Dessert sublime
On a slow night, everything was handled smoothly in a comfortable atmosphere from surroundings that in the 1980s indicated elegance and still hold up today. The food showed careful technique with some attention to the use of local ingredients. For this success, the price was very fair indeed
