Food was of good quality, tho the menu hasn’t changed in ages. Offhand managers who were unwelcoming and overly subservient waiting staff. Owners were too busy giving special treatment to French guests to notice us. Poor atmosphere in the restaurant. Disappointing experience.

Thank you for your inappropriate review... 1/ Our menu is changed every season with different dishes...( this is the first time you came then why this judgment) 2/ Our staff is simply attentive to our customer and not how do you write.."overly subservient" 3/ The French customers were our family, so ? 4/ I came to see you twice to ask you if everything was going well, and you answered me perfectly. What to think about your comment? Well, nothing... Fortunately, not all our customers are interested in this kind of review.

Returning customers.. each time we bring different companions & this little gem doesn’t let us down.. Great food, welcoming service & nice surroundings all add up to a lovely evening.

Fantastic as always, great food and service. We visit every time we visit the area and we are very excited about the opportunity to enjoy our time together there.

We came from the golf course and were probably under dressed, but were treated with dignity as if we were royalty. Because we came directly from golf, we wanted cocktails, which normally are served in their upstairs bar, but they bent over backwards to accommodate us. The food and service were outstanding. Highly recommended

This authentic French restaurant, in the quaint Old Village of Vilamoura, offers consistently great food, expertly presented and at a very reasonable price. It beats almost anything found just a few miles away in the Golden Triangle in terms of its culinary offering and moreover, you're never disappointed when trying to get a reservation.

At this restaurant you are going to get the highest quality gourmet meal you could ever get here in the Algarve. The service is really friendly and sincere. Fantastic surroundings and atmosphere. Full marks.

We visited this restaurant last year during our stay in the Old Village and pleased to find it as good this time. Excellent food, service and atmosphere which we all enjoyed. Definitely recommend!

Warm welcome however very disappointed when it came to ordering and food choices...advised I was coeliac and was advised they could cater however when it came to ordering dishes they had no GF foods substitutes which made choices difficult there were no basics such as gluten free bread. Although what did eventually turn up was nice it was just disappointing they could not handle basics.......would recommend skipping this restaurant if you have a real food allergy as they only seem to be able to cater for fussy food diets.

Madame, nous avons pris en charge la problématique de votre époux d'allergie a beaucoup de mets, nous vous avons servis suivant vos "desiratas". Très rares (a part les stars Michelin ) sont les restaurants ou vous trouverez du pain Gluten free en Algarve , or nous ne sommes pas étoilés Michelin et nous pratiquons des prix modérés au regard de la qualités de nos offres de plats..J ai beaucoup de clients qui ont des allergies alimentaires et qui sont pleinement satisfaits de notre cuisine.La prochaine fois UN CONSEIL quand vous réservez par THE FORK mettez en avant vos demandes particulières, comme cela a la confirmation par le restaurateur vous éviterez tout mal entendu et surtout pour nous professionnels, cela nous évitera d'avoir ce genre de commentaire désagréable et inutile " nous ne sommes pas capables et ne revenez pas dans notre restaurant" qui a mon avis est très mal a propos. Superb! Highly recommended & will definitely be back. We were advised to visit Rendezvous by a friend, & it was the best meal we had in Portugal.

Always come to this restaurant when we are in the Old Village, fantastic menu and food. The manager is great and he always makes you feel very welcome

Surprised by the high quality of the food and variety of the menu. Unusual style of building. Great rooftop bar although we did not know it was there until we were leaving. Need to promote it more. Music needs updating and Some of the waiting staff had awkward interpersonal skills that meant at times they were hovering at the table rsther than serving. Coffee was very week. Waiting staff are efficient and very helpful and polite.

Excellent service and fabulous food

Very well prepared meal in a very pleasant environment. The service was very attentive. A great option for dinner away from the hustle and bustle of August in the Algarve.

This is a very good French restaurant. Would definitely recommend if you need a break from Portuguese cuisine. We had a beef carpaccio and a foie gras for starters and then crispy pork cheeks and a duck breast. Everything was super delicious. Will definitely return. The only thing I have to say is the chicken breast that we ordered for our child wasn’t very tasty. Overall thank you for a wonderful evening.

Great evening, enjoyed cocktails on the roof terrace in the evening sun. Food was suberb, staff very attentive along with a great atmosphere. Looking forward to going back and would reccomened it to everyone who appreciates and loves good food.

Amazing creations by the chef. Restaurant is quite empty on Saturday night. The wine recommendation was perfect.

Food was presented beautifully and tasted amazing... service was 5*
