We had the High Tea -- which was extremely good -- but probably the most expensive High Teas I have ever had. The experience at Lilafells was probably worth the expense.

About Lilianfels lounge

Katoomba’s Lilianfels Lounge is a serene hideaway in the Blue Mountains, situated off the lobby of Lilianfels Resort and Spa. Greenery is at every corner and sinking into one of the lounge’s comfy armchairs, with views of Jamison Valley and the courtyard garden, make you feel like you’re cuddled up at home (albeit a very fancy version). Home doesn’t often come with an option of high tea either, and an extensive wine and cocktail list. Starters consist of options such as duck spring rolls, salt and pepper squid and a charcuterie board for two while mains are everything from lamb osso bucco and wild mushroom risotto to Wagyu beef burger and potato gnocchi. The two cosy fireplaces cry out to be used in winter so flag Lilianfels Lounge & Bar for a wintry weekend getaway or a special treat for a loved one, be it a birthday, anniversary or Mother’s Day.
