We ordered the Tasting Menu and my partner had the beverage matching. The food was amazing and flavours were fresh. The waiters were very knowledgeable about the food and drinks. We will definitely go back for the Tasting Menu and for main dishes.

Our dinner at Lilotang was excellent! We had the tasting menu and each dish was beautifully presented and delicious. Really great value for money and highly recommended. The service was first class especially our waiter Justin who looked after us very well. We look forward to dining here again on our next visit to Canberra!

The tuna crunchy in the sushi plate and the duck sukiyaki are spectacular. Nicky and the team are very attentive and warm as hosts. Lilotang, we’ll be back!

About Lilotang Japanese

Head Chef Shunsuke Ota combines his traditional Japanese training and techniques with new methods and techniques that he develops himself, creating modern Japanese dishes that begin with tradition but have evolved to be very much his own style. Located in the Burbury Hotel, the restaurant is slick with pale timber walls illuminated by strip lighting and lemon-yellow pops of colour. Semi private dining areas are created by hanging timber panels - giving you a touch of privacy if required, with views of the courtyard in the hotel. The menu consists of many tasty Japanese morsels like sashimi, robata-grilled yakitori skewers and duck breast sukiyaki with tempura egg. There’s much to love about this trendy Japanese eatery. Best dish: Chef’s Sushi plate
