The sundown special was brilliant with super fresh prawns and oysters. Huge portions of fresh and tasty food and Julio was a most attentive waiter. Thank you.

The food was delicious, We would definitely go back. The service could have been better. The staff were nice and friendly but we had to wait a bit for our drinks and orders to be taken.

Food was slow to come out and they bring all the courses at once which is a bit strange. By the time you finish starters the main has started going cold.

We enjoyed a wonderful relaxed lunch with front row seats to the ocean views! Food was lovely, well priced for lunch and the cocktails were awesome. Would recommend this place for a relaxed lunch at Palm Cove.

The food was great but for two days in a row our order was wrong. A good waiting needs to be a good listener to ensure the order is right the first time.

About the restaurant

Spice It Up

At Lime and Pepper, internationally renowned chef Thomas Ege brings an edgy style to the menu, peppering it up with unusual flavours using superb seafood, fruit and vegetables to create taste sensations that few have tasted before. Yep, that’s right. Ege knows how to push the boundaries in the kitchen having worked in Cayman Island, throughout Europe at several hatted venues - even serving royalty!

Edge has a distinct culinary voice that ensures exceptional quality, range and style - have you tried chocolate and mushrooms? That’s just one of the weird and wonderful food combinations that are available at Lime & Pepper. Located in Port Douglas in the Premium Palm Cove this is a restaurant with a relaxed beachside setting that produces sumptuous dishes designed to complement its seaside setting.

Best dish: lemon myrtle marinade Grimaud duck breast with Davidson plum soy drizzle.
