Excellent
Lina’s is a great little local bistro with reliable and delicious French food, and great wines to accompany it. As it is small, it can be a bit noisy and frantic, so probably better for two to four people so you can hear each other. This was not my first visit and won’t be my last :)
Great food, but limited for a vegetarian. I had the fish, which was great Have been several times though, as my wife loves the steak Will still go back
Great service, good portion sizes, nice selection for food and wine and well prepared and presented. Great venue with authentic feel. relaxed and friendly. would have been good to sit out in courtyard but wasnt available.
The food was excellent but I feel they needed more staff and a more professional approach but otherwise we had a really pleasant night out and will definitely return.
This French eatery is new to us but has been established for many years which augurs well. We very much enjoyed the paté entre, the steak frittes as well as delicious garlic prawns. Creme brulée delicious. We'll be back.
Everything was great. Very good wine list. The Mauritian dish was tender and full of flavour. We hope to return soon.
What a fantastic dinner ... the food was amazing, the ambience perfect, the service was great, and the wine range matched well ... I am so pleased that we found this gem
One of my favourite local places! Lovely ambience and great staff. Although getting more expensive for less. It may have to be a treat instead of my regular.
Lina's is a true Albert Park staple ... been around for years and you can always depend on great food, great wine and plenty of great atmosphere. We just keep coming back to see what the specials of the day are.
Lina’s is an absolute gem. It has a genuine French vibe without any sense of the pretentious. Warm, generous and knowledgeable staff. An interesting and fun wine list - definitely recommend trying a range with excellent by-the-glass options. Small menu of first class, unfussy food. A wonderful little piece of Paris in Albert Park.
We’ve always enjoyed Lina’s. Food is good, it’s a lovely ambience and staff are friendly and attentive.
Fabulous space.. excellent service and divine food! Five Stars. Must visit restaurant fellow Melbournites. .. get out there and support our restaurants xx
It was wonderful to be back in a restaurant again after so much time in lockdown. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, food was fabulous. Love this place.
The food was delicious! We had the baked Camembert special, the gnocchi and the creme brûlée, and it was all amazing. The waitress was attentive and the atmosphere was great
Very cosy French bistro; with friendly staff that aren’t overly intrusive. Service was attentive. Delicious meals, Great offerings for dietaries, and good wines on offer.
Even though we arrived late due to my own mistake in the booking time and due to COVID they had to revert to two seatings. Not once did they put pressure on us to leave and the food was divine.
Excellent food and service - we were more satisfied! Staff are very welcoming and attentive which always makes an eating experience much more enjoyable. The food.. out of this world. We will be back.
Pleasant restaurant in every respect, warm welcome, unobtrusive but good service food good wine good, relaxed atmosphere and will go back again
Great little neighbourhood bistro that does a basic repertoire of French classics well with a daily Mauritian dish thrown in for a twist. Lovely staff, a good wine selection and a close-to-France ambience in a nice part of town.
Delicious, uncomplicated food with genuinely warm service. Wonderful wine list! A really great experience all round. I would not hesitate returning.

Frenchy´s not faking it Lina´s Bistro a Vin is a charming restaurant located in Albert Park and will impress any French food fanatic. It´s a beautifully renovated space and the food is a fusion of continental delights from France, Italy and Belgium. The deep wooden furniture, warm amber walls and lively artwork give this place a sense of refinement that doesn´t take itself too seriously. The place is actually named for the artist Lina Bryans, and her colourful portraits decorate the walls. We just love the Parmesan crusted lamb loins, doused in an incredible eggplant puree, and the Belgian mousse for dessert. The Belgians sure know their chocolates! Art, food and – what else do we need to get Frenchy? Oh, of course, the wine! Lina´s Bistro have a huge range of European and local wines, and the knowledgeable staff can help you pick the right one for you mood and your palate. You´ll love the sophisticated, modern, Euro vibe of this arty continental restaurant. Best dish: lamb loins
