Unexpected amazing food for dinner. Everyone classes it as breakfast or lunch. Great surprise for dinner. Little stark on atmosphere but hard to balance the breaky lunch dinner transition. Fire place is awesome.

Wonderful views and really delicious well-presented food, even in the depths of winter. Oh, and they have a cosy fire too

It got magnificent view, great location. Potential to be a romantic n classy restaurant. However, the decoration inside very simple, service wise, took a while for food to deliver, asked for rare steak but I would say a bit over cook.

Little Blue must have the best restaurant views in Melbourne. You are out on the pier and have an amazing view of Melbourne over the yachts in the marina. You can often see the little blue penguins around dusk. We had lamb shank and lamb rack followed by cheesecake and the meals were delicious., as were the margaritas.

Bit cold Good service A bit cafe style. Shank was a bit boring. Other meals quite nice

We enjoyed our dinner and service however would we brave the cold blustery walk on the pier for another visit? Probably only if we were enjoying the Fork Festival incentive and we wanted to watch the penguins coming home

It's a nice small restaurant at the end of St Kilda Pier. It has great sunset view and next to the penguin colony. Tried their signature seafood pasta, very good, recommended.

About Little Blue Restaurant

Feeling Blue? This fascinating restaurant sits right in the middle of St Kilda pier, enjoying 360 degrees of stunning views! You can see everything from the glittering Melbourne city on one side and the great green expanse of the sea on the other. Little Blue Restaurant has been around since the 1800s, when the old building on the pier was converted into a restaurant. Tragically, the original structure was burnt down in 2003, but luckily for happy diners, it was restored again for us to enjoy well into the future. With windows all around, the interior is bright and airy, and from the outside, the restaurant looks like a charmingly restored blast from the past. Little Blue Restaurant plates up all of our Australian classics, like juicy burgers including a spectacular soft shell crab number, as well as mouth-watering battered seafood and grills. The do breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as share platters. If you’re down at Port Philip bay, you’ve got no excuse to not hit this place up. You might even spot a penguin or two! Best dish: the trevally
