Staff is friendly and great food but the signature dessert wasn't to our taste.

Local gem Interesting blend of Thai flavours and a twist with some European influences. Large menu making choices at times challenging. We started with a selection of their smaller plates and were constantly delighted with what emerged from the kitchen - wowing our taste buds. Followed those starters (4) with a cashew and chicken stir fry which had us both vowing that we would return for another visit and put this little place on our regular must go list.

Sauce on satay skewer is a bit sweet but not too much satay taste. Pad Ki Mao is very salty. I am a big fan of Thai food , unfortunately this one is not for me.

Food was average. We ordered the tamarind fried fish and when it was served, it was still raw in the middle. We also ordered a couple of fried noodle dishes and a fried rice dish and the servings are quite small.

About Long Kin

Sydney’s best kept secret! Located in Pyrmont in Sydneys bustling city, is Long Kim. These guys create authentic and fusion Thai dishes with a modern twist. The simple decor creates a homely feel, leaving you relaxed and comfortable. This spot is perfect for long lunches with friends and colleagues and relaxing dinners with friends. The menu offers a range of dishes including noodle dishes, curries and stir fries. The kana moo grob (crispy pork belly wok fried with chinese broccoli in oyster sauce) or the more traditional pad see ew are two stand out dishes. Finish the night with a delicious mocktail! You won’t be able to go past the cantaloupe cooler for a refreshing end to the night. Best Dish: Pad ki mao nuea- stir fried flat rice noodles with beef, chilli and basil.
