Great atmosphere- food was good- one pre-dinner drink was forgotten and they were a little pushy with the wine- not asking if you want a top up - good for family and friends

Staff were gossiping and standing around. Took over 30mins for our drinks order to be taken. In addition, the steamed fish did not arrive as per our order. The staff took no accountability.

I took my wife there for a nice Sunday lunch. Food was awesome and staff were fantastic! Thanks Lotus for a great day.

A fantastic selection of dumplings that are delicious! The aged duck however didn’t really taste much different to normal duck. But a lovely meal all up. Have the squid ink dumplings with plenty of chilli!

Have been to Lotus both Barangaroo and George St a number of times - always attentive service and always tasty and well prepared and cooked dishes - would normally be a 9 - only an 8 on this night as it just didn't come together as well as other nights in both service and dishes - however we will definitely be back as their steamed dumplings are some of best in Sydney.

Very busy restaurant, not enough staff, the waitress were too busy to spend time to recommend dishes and Drinks. Dishes are good but drinks just ok

The location of this restaurant was great. We had guests from Germany and really wanted to show of Sydney. We stepped off the ferry at Barangaroo and virtually walked straight into the restaurant. The best thing I liked was the inclusion of GF dumplings. As a Coeliac I have missed these so much. Thanks Lotus for catering for people other than vegans!

Lovely atmosphere and food, when we queried the wine though we felt the staff were a little put out, but other than that, a fantastic lunch, would highly recommend!

Good service, just a bit pricey. Small serving for the price they charged.

Great suggestion on restaurant from friends. Glad I took a jacket as was pretty cold until they put the sides down.

Duck entree was very good, depending on you palate some mains were very spicy ?? Good choice of wine and refreshments, overall an enjoyable experience.

About the restaurant

Historically Barangaroo was the home of the Gadigal people, traditional owners of the land. Aboriginal people made campsites located close to the shore especially during summer when fish and shellfish were the staple diet. Today, Barangaroo is the site of Sydney’s hottest urban renewal project. This development houses residential, retail, and business. It is also the heart of a thriving hospitality community.

Lotus Dining has set up camp in Barangaroo on Wulugul Walk. The team led by Jessica Guo, look forward to welcoming you to Lotus Barangaroo for a memorable harbour side experience.
