Overpriced with limited choice of food, food tastes ok.
Staff were great and professional
Really pretty setting. greeting was lovely. Plenty of space between tables and seating. Staff not over barring but very helpful. staff had good knowledge of products. did not feel pressured, nice and relaxed
Great service and amazing food, Creme brûlée was probably one of the best we’ve ever had.
Really nice experience, food was generous, staff were attentive and friendly.
We have read previous bad reviews but chose to ignore. The food was terrible Steaks ordered as Med rare and Med both arrived well done The kids spaghetti inedible , so they survived on bread ! Don’t bother, very disappointing
Lovely meal. Good service.
A great place in a lovely country setting offering exceptional food and quality service.
A good night of food and wine! This restaurant seems to have found the right recipe!
It was enjoyable
We had a wonderfull evening. Exellent service.Delicious generous meals. Lovely atmosphere.Nice decor. Beautiful garden to view.Strongly reccomend.
Very lovely staff food was fantastic we will come again
Best Salmon had for along time lamb shoulder was great great wine list. Great service 10/10.
Nothing but quality
Excellent service and beautiful scenery
Beautiful serve of Cauliflower Veloute - warm and comforting for a cold night, must try! Delicious sticky beef short rib to share as well.
Service was not very well coordinated as we were asked by different people; had we ordered, ordered wine etc. Disappointingly was the porterhouse which had gristle and a bit tough however the lamb shoulder was excellent. Entree and desert were good. Would we go back - we won't be in any hurry to return for quite a while!
Food was nice but unbalanced (ie: half a tub of aioli to 3/4 small pieces of salmon), lacked seasoning, venison was not evenly cooked and was tough and dry in some places. For a winery to pour aged wine straight into glasses without nosing or tasting is unacceptable.
Biggest problem was that the menu and served product was completely different. Was ment to be Pumpkin gnocchi with mushrooms, sage, in a wine reduction - I got potato gnocchi with the salad from our venison entree and raw oyster mushrooms. It was overpriced i.e. $16 dollars for a dessert that was just 2 mouses and nuts? Much improvement needed.
Very pleasant, friendly and very efficient staff. Food was delightful. Lamb rack delicious. We had Tockford wine a local product stunning.

Nice rack
Welcome to Lyndoch Hill Restaurant, a stunning world class venue with a passion for fresh produce and local suppliers. This place is a luxurious institution with spectacular accommodation facilities, beautiful gardens and views over the neighbouring Barossa vineyards - it’s no wonder this is a favourite spot for weddings! The inviting decor, friendly staff and extensive menu ensures your dining experience will be a memorable and rewarding one. The seasonal menu changes regularly but you can expect a plethora of dishes that are well balanced and full of flavour. We love the entertaining dish names like ‘nice rack’ - locally raised lamb rack with beetroot, red onion, spinach, rosemary & mascarpone mash & dukka jus, and ‘pig in a bag’ - pork rillettes, crispy pork crackling, spiced rhubarb chutney with pickled pear and apple. Each menu item comes with its own wine recommendation to take note! (You can also come for breakfast or lunch…). Whatever you choose Lyndoch Hill is guaranteed to serve a memorable dining experience.
