We had a very good experience in the restaurant, the service was good and fast, the menu included special dishes and interesting cocktails. In overall it's a nice place to spend as a couple or a group of friends. Prices are higher than usual but not too expensive.

The evening exceeded my expectations. We had the degustation menu which was exactly to my tastes. A small and well serviced restaurant and well worth a visit.

Everything was delicious. The table they saved for us outside! So thoughtful and they listened to my booking request.. unlike some restaurants... My family had the steak and frites and raved about the steak.. the quality and perfection of the cooking.. bone in etc... I had the best tartar which I shared and everyone raved about as well...the pear and rocket salad was perfect.. the only comment on the food that wasn’t highly praised was the frites... they were not cooked to Golden but we’re still too light.. This place beats The Rex hands down in every category except for the frites...

Sneaky “service charge” When I received the bill there is an item that reads “SC”. When I asked the staff what it was, he said its a 10% service charge on the total bill and that its “industry standard”. I then asked “is it a Sunday surcharge?”, he said “no”. Then I asked “is this charge written somewhere in the menu”, he replied “no”. By writing “SC” on the bill instead of writing “service charge”, its easier for customers to overlook it. I dined as a group of 2, which means it wasnt a large group. I know that large groups often have surcharges which are clearly pre-notified to customers. I will never return.
