I feel the cheese platters are really expensive for what they actually are compared to having a hot dish, overall waiter friendly and attentive

We’ve had better tapas elsewhere, this was probably the worst tapas that we’ve ever had. However the service was really good and most helpful with the wine choice.

This is really just a place to stop for lunch. They really should make an effort to have the restaurant more appealing for evening sittings. Tried to sell the most expensive wine on the menu, which compared to other restaurants we ate at was way over priced. Octopus wasn't cooked properly. Bit of a shame really as it could be so good

We had an octopus starter which was rather rubbery and tasteless. As a main we had the meat platter, much better and worth the visit. The wines are a bit pricier than other restaurants in the area but we had a red which was ok but not great. Over all it was worth the visit but nothing to shout about.

Not really a tapas restaurant. However, food was very tasty and the waiter was charming.a fun night.

We always enjoy this as a change from our normal venues in Funchal.

The food is good quality overall and well presented. Service was excellent with the restaurant a third full. What is especially good is their large wine selection as well as excellent ports, etc. We sat outside. Street quiter than most with about 8 other restaurants.

A very charming and knowlegeable sommelier reccomended us a bottle of wine, which was absolutely excellent. We ardered four small plates between two of us and some bread and that made a splendid dinner.

Wine waiters knowledge outstanding his choice excellent - food was good but they had no squid and no chorizo - delicious prawns and mussels

We had a wonderful eve! Duarte is a very very good waiter and his suggestions were perfect. We even bought a special bottle of port to take home ???? thank you, we will be back!

The restaurant is in lovely setting, we sat outside in the pedestrian pathway and the atmospheres was great.

Difficult one to review. First of all the food and wine quality was excellent. We would definitely return. However the initial waiter that dealt with us gave us the menu and we chose the jumbo platter which was far too much for two people. We feel better advice could have been given. Our plates did not arrive until five minutes after the platter was given. Also the couple that arrived later was given an additional menu which we did not receive, a little disconcerting to say the least.

Very good staff and delicious food. Huge variety of wines and the staff is good in finding the right wine for you. We came here three times and we will be back, when we visit Madeira again.
