Good food, love the chili dumplings. Better organisation and management required.

Good ambience for entertaining friends and business clients and service was not bad, however food was disappointing. We ordered six items for lunch between the two of us: - Xiao long bao : average - Pan fried pork dumplings : served luke warm, pastry soggy & thick - Chicken in rice wine : salty - Shredded turnip pastries : ok but pastries not the authentic Shanghainese version - Homemade smoked fish on fried rice : this one is ok though not above average - Spicy Szechuan noodle : salty salty salty

After we submitted our order, the waiter had to come back on numerous occasions to advise that they had run out of the items we had ordered. Perhaps it we would’ve had a better experience if we came on a weekday when everything is in stock?

The place was busy and crowed. The food was more westernised Chinrse food rather than authentic one. The service was rushed as we were only given one hour and 45 minutes sitting time.

About Man Tong Kitchen

Peking Duck Paradise It’s like walking into a palace when you enter Man Tong Kitchen in the Crown Casino complex. The rich red and gold colours, marble pillars, giant wooden lanterns and empty birdcages certainly make a grand impression. But when it comes to the food, it’s entirely approachable and familiar, making Man Tong just right for a big — and hungry — group of diners. That’s what Man Tong is all about, really — a full house of family and friends eating together, whether for a special occasion or just because. Man Tong gives you an excuse for a gathering with its authentic Chinese cuisine, which highlights different regions and cities of China. Start with some dim sum and dumplings. You can choose steamed, pan fried or deep fried. The appetisers don’t stop there. Go for the lobster or Chinese sausage before moving on to one of many soups, including a crabmeat sweet corn soup. If you’ve brought a group, order the Peking duck; it’s a signature dish not to be missed. Whatever your tastes, you’ll find plenty of options on the expansive menu at Man Tong. All the more reason to grab a group of friends and try a bit of it all. Best dish: Peking duck
