Great Italian with really good service
The food was great - but the pizza dough was amazing.
Service is always top: discrete but efficient. They know when to come over, they are so courteous, yet funny and relaxed. Also love that they don't chuck you out after 90mns on Sat night like a lot of places in Sydney But I think your survey is floored .. you are forcing and amount per person which is inaccurate as I had to randomly put sthg to be able to submit. I may have made the booking but I never saw the bill. Please amend your questionnaire to allow people to answer accurately.
All food was good. Service was overall good. We were served incorrect main courses and wine. Despite the service glitches, this is a very good Italian restaurant.
Pleasently surprised with the quality of food and service. Will go back again.
Pizzas and pastas were amazing, everything cooked to perfection and delicious. Service was outstanding, when the restaurant got super busy, our waiter was still on point! Our waiter still remembered everyone one of our requests and brought us everything we asked for. We were happy to wait a little in between enjoying our wine (perfectly recommended by our waiter) and chatting.
the food is amazing and the staff are exceptional
The schiacciata. The gnocchi fritti. The pizza. All so good, that I will happily travel across town again and again. The wine list is almost impossible to make heads or tails of, unless you are an Italian wine enthusiast. Friendly service, and reasonable prices.
good Italian food - pleasant setting
Delicious pasta and a great wine recommendation. Fun atmosphere and warm service.
Great local very accommodating for our diner in wheel chair
The only crticism is that it is rather noisy
Its by far our favorite local Italian - we are lucky to have it so nearby.
Delicious food, great atmosphere, and service was perfect!
Waiters need to be more attentive to patrons.
Wine is pricey
The Mortadella in the bread was amazing and so was the mushroom parpadelle!
Love Marta have been before with a group of women and we shared the group menu which was delicious. This occasion I dined with 6 hungry men and ordered lots of dishes to share I found the portion sizes on this occasion small for this occasion and I will next time order starters to share and get them to order there own mains rather then sharing. ALL IN ALL THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS and the MEATBALLS ARE SO YUM!!!!!!
Great local a regular for us!
30 McLachlan Ave, 2010, Rushcutters Bay, Australia
MARTA is an osteria inspired by the flavours and streets of Rome. The ideal spot from date nights to leisurely Sunday family gatherings. Flavio Carnevale - creator of Sydney's much loved Popolo - has created a true neighbourhood gem serving up traditional Roman flavours in abundance - from classic cacio e pepe (pasta served with black pepper and pecorino) to scottadito (tomahawk with spicy chicory).
Best dish: cacio e pepe.
