    The restaurant was very busy . Staff seem to have it all under control . Been here before and will be back just gotta remember to book a window seat inside next time . ????

    American burger that I had was very bland, patty was thin, hard and lukewarm, cheese not even melted.. Not good, and not how I remember the food in this place. Meh..

    It took over an hour to get our starters. We kept having to wave people for service rather than them checking on us when our drinks finished etc. No steak knives given with food so had to go find them ourselves. Steak was cooked to medium instead of the rare we asked for.

    Excellent service, not pricy and good food with drink choices.. the only missing part of the team split in two tables given busy time of the year.. Team enjoyed spending time there and we will visit again.

    Waiter never came to us, we had to constantly ask for service. She was unpleasant and never came to our table to see how we are doing or if we wanted to order more drinks. The food was great, however, with the lack of service it was hard to enjoy the meal and drinks.

    Top notch, perfectly medium cooked sirloin that was nice and pink. Dedication to being a Covid safe restaurant by ensuring patrons properly register their details before being seated. Will come again and again, It was a beautiful afternoon and would great to see more people coming out to enjoy and support our local businesses

    Terrible service had reservation for balcony and got sat against a filthy dirty window wedged in against a pillar for 35 minutes waiting to be served and then when it came out we got given plates to use after we had eatin, luckily the food was tops

    Quite disappointed. We were a group of 6, no social distancing as our backs were touching with the table behind us. Our table was sticky and no matter how much we wiped our table with baby wipes, the wipes still came out dirty. 3 or us ordered steaks, 2x media rare and a medium, the medium steak came out rare. Everything was OK until the dessert. We ordered 2 coffee stone desserts, the chocolate casing didnt crack and was quite soft and was discoloured, looked grey, and after a few bites it was quite bitter, one of us peeled the chocolate casing and we saw green mouldall over the mouse, we checked the second coffee stone and it too HAD MOULD ALL OVER THE MOUSSE! They blamed the apprentice for leaving it in the fridge too long. Not dining there again! You would think after a pandemic, you would consider safety above everything else, not this place.

    We were greeted by friendly staff on arrival, given a brilliant outdoor table. We came prepared with a print out of what all of the 18 guests would like for their main and first drink and provided that. We discovered that the menu was limited to a subset of what’s on the website - you need to be clearer as we were looking at the a la carte menu. Wasn’t a massive drama, we just altered a few of the starters and one of the mains, but not ideal. The drinks and starters came out within a decent amount of time. It was at this point that the service seemed to be close to non existent, no one came to take our drinks orders for a while and most of the table didn’t have a drink in front of them for most of the lunch. We had to grab the staff’s attention and waited until we nearly finished our main meals before we got our second drinks. I had to send my steak back as it was pink and bleeding when I had ordered well-done, they sorted that out though so fair play to them, though everyone had finished eating when my 2nd steak arrived. While I had a staff member at the table I gently reminded them about the second round of drinks we had ordered a while ago and rather than getting a response on the lines of “sorry we’ll look into that now for you”, the blonde waitress looked very stressed and preceded to rudely state that she can’t be everywhere at once and she is short-staffed. It’s not my problem if meat & district co do not adequately staff the restaurant when they have a fully booked outside area. And I don’t deserve a rude response.

    Amazing waiter and waitress so kind and helpful. Watermelon cocktail was amazing! Kangaroo was exquisite! This place never fails. We will be back!

    Foods are nice and tasty. The environment is also great. However, we had been waiting for more than 45 mins and the main courses still didn’t come! Checked with the staffs and they said the kitchen haven’t started yet and they are going to make it now! If we didn’t check and the food wouldn’t come! I think the staffs should check every tables more frequently and make sure all customers are ok.

Welcome to the Meat District Co, where the meaty addiction begins. Taking up residence at King Street Wharf to further feed Sydney’s love affair with burgers, Meat District Co also serves us dishes such as hot dogs, ribs, grilled steaks and ‘The Hook’. The Hook brings theatrics to the table with lamb or chicken skewers served swinging from a hook with capsicum, onion and corn. The good thing to note is that all beef here is free of hormones, steroids and antibiotics - a huge win. Spread across two storeys, the restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, water views and refrigerated cases which display hanging cured meats. Come for Slider and Cider night on Monday and Tuesdays where you can enjoy a mini pulled lamb burger, mini crumbed chicken burger, a side of chips and an ice cold Bulmers Cider for just $18. The start of the week has never look better at Meat District Co.
