Overall, as a whole, it was an okay experience. The seating arrangements were questionable, considering COVID-19 restrictions should be implemented. I felt we were sitting less than 1.5m to the tables nearby. Service was shocking! What is the point of having a maître d, when he can't even provide glasses to the table? (we asked around three times for glasses for our cocktail jug). Yes, it was bustling, possibly understaffed by the looks of it; however, there are no excuses when the maitre d cannot even get your glasses! On the bright side, the food was enjoyable overall; the ribs were cooked and seasoned perfectly, chips still had a crunch to it. The only disappointment was the truffle chips, which was a plate of chips- they were sprinkled with grated Parmesan truffle cheese, and that's it. Bit of a rip-off. Other than that, the food was nice. Will I return? Probably not, seating arrangements were very questionable; toilets were in full view (no laneway to toilets, how they passed inspection beats me), and the service was beyond shocking. The points for my rating were mostly for the food. Food and service have to go hand-in-hand!

Was asked to take a seat at an uncleared table, which was sanitized only after seating. Fillet was amazing, but the ribs and chicken wings were not that great. Sauce used was very sweet.
I dined with hubby while on holidays. I had the cheeseburgers and it was bland and under seasoned. I was very disappointed that the owners put profit before health as there was zero social distancing. Almost every table was filled.
Fast friendly service and food was great.
Two dishes that we order were dried and overcook. Pork ribs were tasteless and not juicy and tender as we expected. I order medium rare rib eye but hey serve edge burn well done steak, not juicy at all. we felt so disappointed and decided to had Pizza near by our place where taste way better.
We were greeted at the door and the staff were very friendly. They put us at the back of the restaurant which was not a pleasant part of the restaurant. We had burgers and they were edible, but nothing to write home about. The staff were very friendly and attentive. So the overall experience was to be expected. It was not of any particular quality, wines were not great though over priced.
Right from when we arrived every thing was great . Service was great . Food was excellent. We ordered half a rack of ribs with the chicken wings and chips . Was to die for . Will definitely be back .????
Such a great atmosphere and great place to come back to right after COVID
The service was disappointing, we waited an hour for our food to come out and approx 30 mins for our drinks. When the food came out, the 6 onion rings that we paid $10 for looked burnt like they’ve been cooked in old oil and just weren’t pleasant to eat. We also ordered the platter for 4 (which had the waiter confused as she was not sure what it contained or that it was for four people and kept having to come back to the table to fix our order) the platter was okay for its price, the ribs and chips were good. Overall a disappointing experience considering the menu had already been condensed down to accomodate for the social gathering sizes. Would not recommend.
Delicious food and our waiter was awesome! Definitely would go back there and will tell family and friends how great it was. The ribs are a MUST!!
The service was great. When we got there they had our table ready in no time. The food was tasty and served quickly and it was great to be sitting near the water
Amazing food , amazing service , amazing ambience
It's our third time in meat district co. We had chicken wings, cheese burger and surf and turf burger, fish burger, watermelon salad and lamb hook and two drinks. Food was good but the staff forgot our drink order. Overall recommended.

Restaurant has great location, we got a table in the back towards the harbour side. Good ambience and atmosphere, menu was simple and straightforward and food was tasty and arrived promptly.
Great food from a well-priced menu. We had a table of 8 and the food came out quite quickly. The steaks and ribs were delicious and the alcohol is reasonably priced. Everyone enjoyed their meal, although the pork ribs were a bit too sweet.
booking was really simple and food was yummy! I was impressed with the service. I asked for a change of salad instead of fries pretty late after ordering and did not expect the request would be accepted.. It was !!

Welcome to the Meat District Co, where the meaty addiction begins. Taking up residence at King Street Wharf to further feed Sydney’s love affair with burgers, Meat District Co also serves us dishes such as hot dogs, ribs, grilled steaks and ‘The Hook’. The Hook brings theatrics to the table with lamb or chicken skewers served swinging from a hook with capsicum, onion and corn. The good thing to note is that all beef here is free of hormones, steroids and antibiotics - a huge win. Spread across two storeys, the restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, water views and refrigerated cases which display hanging cured meats. Come for Slider and Cider night on Monday and Tuesdays where you can enjoy a mini pulled lamb burger, mini crumbed chicken burger, a side of chips and an ice cold Bulmers Cider for just $18.
