This was our second visit, had the Father's Day gluttony special plus a few cocktails, rolled out two hours later with big smiles/bellies, two boxes of leftovers, and a commitment to return when we lose 5-10 kilos to make more room. Food was awesome as usual, our server on this visit was spectacular, ambience was on point, and the Dad gifts were a nice touch with the fixed menu. My one tip for the suggestion box would be adding a bit more liquid to those smoked cocktails!

Lovely flavours, great cocktails. Pity we weren't hungry enough to try any starters but mains were fantastic.

Express lunch is such a great option for a business lunch. We had pork for entrée and skirt steak for main - both delicious.

Kobe beef was amazing and well worth the price tag.

It's rare to find a restaurant where you can't fault a single thing. This is one of those places. Everything is perfect. The service, the food, the drinks. Faultless.

About Meatmaiden

Just like the giant sides of porterhouse hanging in their meat fridge, Meatmaiden keeps getting better with age. This stylish CBD basement restaurant and bar in Little Collins Street serves up a killer combination of dry-aged steaks, smoked meats, local craft beer and wine and quirky cocktails. They raise their meat game each week by sourcing rotating special cuts, such as a Robbins Island Wagyu 9+ Score T-bone or O’Connor’s Pasture-Fed Angus Rib Eye. Cult favourites aren’t forgotten - Meatmaiden classics like the 20-hour smoked Rangers Valley Black Market brisket, decadent lobster mac n cheese and saucy, crispy burnt ends still take pride of place and keep regulars coming back for more.
