A great place for family/ friend gathering. Lovely indoor and outdoor ambience. We love the oven baked pizza with eggplants. We also tried Harria soup which came in a huge bowl. It was a bit boring though. It’s a pet ( dog) friendly place. Staff are very nice and attentive

Great food and service Booked through The Fork but somehow our booking was cancelled by the restaurant after we had our lunch there. Rang back and all fixed up for us . Overall happy customer

Very disappointed with both wine & food. More what I would expect from a high street chain. Expected a lot more. Wine list is limited and from the bottom shelf & the food textures & flavors were imbalanced or not really there. Tried it because it was a new local restaurant, left early to go down the road to another restaurant for a decent glass of wine and dessert.

Flavoursome food particularly the lamb boureks to start. Attentive friendly service. Watch out for them opening @ Gasworks in the future.

Mains came out before starters which was disappointing but the food was still great.

The service was appalling! The waiter took plates of food away that we were still eating. They also got orders wrong, delivering the wrong meals to our table. It also to forever for food to come.

About Mecca Bah Brisbane

Make the trek The good folk at Mecca Bah Brisbane (one of four Mecca Bah outlets) are all about authenticity – well, as authentic as you can get when you try to bring a touch of the Middle East to Fortitude Valley. From the colourfully decorated plates to the beautifully presented food, you’ll certainly feel transported to another land once you sink your teeth into their sweet potato falafels smothered in tahini or the baked haloumi garnished with pomegranate, mint salad and lemon. They encourage sharing, with dishes designed to be savoured by a group, ensuring you get to try as many of the delicacies as possible. You might want to opt for the char-grilled barramundi wrapped in vine leaves and served with hummus and a parsley, artichoke and olive salad or perhaps a Turkish pizza with a choice of toppings – the spiced chicken with eggplant, rocket and more of that luscious tahini would be our pick. Finish your meal with a cool scoop or three of Mecca Bah ice cream – with options like date and vanilla, Turkish coffee or halva to choose from, it’ll be tricky to stop at just one. Best dish: Beef tagine with cous cous
