Great service and food. BBQ chicken and share plate for starters are a recommendation. Would recommend to try

Ordered 3 entrees and 4 mains for 4 people. Amoy Curry is the best. Pork ribs is tender and tasty.

Try the curry duck or the ribs. The share platter is worth it.

Enjoy the new dish Duck wrap as entree. Ordered the whole steamed barramundi and amok curry and chicken curry. All delicious. Also excellent service.

Was a bit disappointed with the pork hocks as I was expecting a crispy whole pork hock. But in fairness the hock that was served was delicious so with the green apple salad. Only that the serving was a bit small. Was it because of the 50%off offer?? The steamed barramundi was absolutely cooked to perfection as always.

Ordered one Entree and 3 Mains. Seafood crepe is delicious and the sauce spices up the dish. Amok curry is amazing with generous serve of seafood. Beef brisket is tender and melt in your mouth. Duck curry is also nice. Service is excellent! Definitely will comeback again!

About Mekong

A journey down the Mekong. Housed within the new ultra trendy Kensington St precinct in Chippendale, Mekong is paying homage to the flavours of south east Asia. Just imagine yourself embarking on a colourful journey down the Mekong river, sailing past gilded pagodas and rice paddies and through lush jungles. This restaurant is peaceful and refined, offering sophisticated Asian fare that is both beautiful and flavourful. Enjoy share plates and a number of beautiful desserts that are curious and complex. Menu highlights include ‘Duck at Sunrise’: confit duck laid on red Thai curry with fresh tomato and pineapple and the ‘Spice of the omelette: crispy Lao omelette stuffed with sliced pork, morning glory and soy-chilli sauce. The dessert menu is also delicious and the signature three-tiered dessert of rosewater lychee mousse, mango puree and meringue drops, flecked with elderflower, rose petal and raspberries is definitely worth saving room for. Come and explore this venue and take a trip down the Mekong. Best dish: Full Moon (steamed coconut stuffed with tiger prawn, egg, basil & coconut milk)
