Outstanding service and food. Skillful use of a wide variety of vegetables. Fresh local seasonal produce is used and it shows. Desserts are very good too. This is my second most favourite restaurant to Attica, and very much more affordable. They also have the best gin I have ever tasted (Teddy and the Fox) which is made just up the road. Completely delicious experience. The people remembered us from a previous visit even though we had only been there once before, two years earlier!

We enjoyed the 2 course degustation meal was definitely sufficient food. Couldn’t fault the food, each dish was explained to us as it arrived at the table. Great setting looking over the olive trees. Service excellent. We ate Thursday lunch. Enjoyed the Oakdene wines as well which are good value. We would eat here again.

We were so surprised by the quality and quantity of the food tucked away amongst the trees in a very private location with a superb view into the distance. Will definitely be back for their change of menu in winter.

Perfectly understated atmosphere. Staff friendly and attentive. Chef happy to amend food for my wife who can’t eat grains. Grazing plates with great variety - just the right amount. Highlight of our trip to the Bellarine Peninsula.

Drysdale's hidden gem!

This contemporary restaurant with a view is Drysdale's hidden gem. The spacious verandah provides a romantic and intimate setting overlooking lush greenery and high tree tops. Merne at Lighthouse has become the go to spot for special celebrations, anniversaries and romantic nights out.

The menu offers small dishes to eat out on the verandah whilst taking in the beautiful scenery and sipping on champagne. These guys offer a two course or four course option for dining out, including smoked mussels, kangaroo and goat milk parfait. You'll be finding any reason to celebrate!
