Opel grew up in Bangladesh to then follow his passion for cooking in France. Boasting a 25-year career as a chef classically trained in French cuisine, the Bangladeshi-Australian Chef Patron incorporates his classical training with memories of childhood. Khan has owned and managed over 15 restaurants in Australia. Author of award-winning cook book, Sex in the Kitchen, Khan is familiar with the sensual appeal of food and this shows in his enthusiasm for each dish on the menu at Metisse.
