The food was ok. But do not go in summer as we had a table on the back deck and was so uncomfortable just a small fan in the corner so became way to uncomfortable to enjoy the meal. The lamb needs a salad as well.

Terrible food, confusion around service and to top it off we saw the waitress spraying Mortein near one of the corner tables during our meal. Not going back again...

We enjoyed our visit to Meyhanee even though it was 30plus degrees outside and there was no air conditioning or fans. Our waiter was excellent, the food was very good, would go back and try other dishes, asked for the Turkish version of espresso martini but couldn’t get it as apparently the cocktail waiter isn’t there on a Thursday night, also some of the food we asked for wasn’t available, wasn’t a problem as there was plenty of choices. The breakfast menu sounded interesting so thinking of giving that a try.

It was the first time we went to this local place and it was great for a family meal. The service was really friendly and the food was simple but very tasty. We intend to come back soon.

Upon arriving, we were given the table at the back of the restaurant which was a shed. It was hot, dirty, and no music at the back. The front dining wasnt full and had seats but we were given the table at the back with no atmosphere. When we were ordering pide, the waitress said oven baked dishes are not available. Then they gave us complimentary mezze, chickpeas and bread, which was nice of them but the bread was obviously old and tough to eat. The wine was too expensive for the atmosphere we got. We are not coming back for sure.

The waiter was really friendly when we entered the restaurant. We ordered entree main and dessert at the same time. I noticed other tables ordering main after we had placed an order. However we didn’t get our main meal until at least 30 mins after the other tables got their meal when we ordered before them. Knowing how slow the food can come out, I requested the dessert to be ready half way through our main mean. The waitress said ok and came back a while later with a menu asking which one we wanted. I advised her that I’ve already ordered kunefe and she walked away again. She came back a while later telling us that it will be another 10 minutes which ended up being more thank 20mins. Bread was overcooked and hard it was like a rock, kunefe was burnt. Lovely staff but we will not be returning or recommending this restaurant.

Mehaynee has recently changed ownership and naturally a few changes have ensued. Food quality is still good but perhaps not quite as amazing (or generous) as it was. Service was friendly albeit a little haphazard. It is still well priced and homely. We’ll be back!

Food was very tasty and great choices. It’s a BYO also which is also fab when you can bring your favorites. We will definitely return

Lovely food and excellent service! The waiter was especially nice in allowing us to try three different wines before deciding. The food was delivered very quality and was delicious! We were also given some lovely complimentary tea at the end!

The food was delicious. The best mezzes ever - wonderful variety. The service was good. Great live Turkish music on Saturday’s. We had a misunderstanding with whether we wanted a set menu for our group as we were sitting in the front section of the restaurant but it was resolved in a happy compromise. Will go back

Great variety of mezze, very typical cuisine, wine a bit 2nd grade. Can be very quiet mid-week, but very packed in the weekends.

What an awesome restaurant. Such variety, freshness and flavours. And excellent value. $40 odd dollars including sharing a bottle of wine. Want to come back for breakfast soon!

Great food and service. The selection of Mezze plates is fantastic. Tasty and reminded us of visits to Turkey. We also enjoyed the slow cooked lamb and an excellent pide. An opportunity to taste some good Turkey wine too! Last night there was a fabulous female vocalist doing a mix of Turkish and 'English language' pop music. Fantastic job - at a volume that was audible, but posed no problems to talking at our table. Friendly people and happy atmosphere here. Recommended.

Tasty food, enormous portions and complimentary bread and dip were all amazing! One staff was a bit pushy about ordering more food but other than that it was a great experience.

Lovely and friendly service. We were given a seat in the back room which was cozy and quiet perfect for our date night. If you love Turkish music you will love Sat nights here esp for parties. Great meze choices, fantastic value for money for the mix chargrill enough for 2ppl and great dessert selection. I loved the Apple tea and my hubby enjoyed the Turkish beer.
