Michel Restaurant

Received a great welcome from the server. Beautifully designed and "high-end" dining room. Service was prompt and courteous. Server helped us with dish selection. I had the pork on a bed of yams and vegetables and my husband the steak. We both enjoyed our selections; I loved the yams and vegetables. We shared the apple crumble dessert which was also quite good. Our server brought us some local liquor - pineapple and passionfruit - to end the meal, free of cost, a very sweet gesture. Will definitely be back.

Very nice decor, great food and good service.

Buzzy and tasteful atmosphere with almost every table reserved. The service was welcoming, efficient and friendly. I enjoyed the seafood salad (large, fresh, crisp and delicious) then the Azorean steak with an egg and Chile on top, skinny fried and nice island red wine from Farias vineyards to wash it down. I was too full to eat dessert! The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and had great flavour and the skinny chips were some of the best I’ve ever had. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you’re in Ponta Delgada and make sure to reserve a table in advance!

The ambiance and service were delightful and the food even better. We ordered the tuna steak and grilled fish of the day. Both were prepared to perfection and we were delighted to have delicious vegetables and sweet potatoes as well.

I can't imagine a better restaurant on the island. The service was impeccable and the food quality was out of this world. I am not a big seafood person but this meal was delicious. Will definately return. The quality of food & service is unmatched.

Very nice restaurant, the food is delicious, the atmosphere is cosy, best retaurant I've tried during my week in Ponta Delgada, and I 'm fench ;-)

Brilliant location very close to our hotel - Azor. Could not fault it so going back tonight..

We were not disappointed. :) The food, atmosphere and service were excellent as always. We easily reserved our table online through Facebook and the table was ready even 15 minutes early!
