Ordered a “runny” omelette. . Certainly not runny. Very firm and overcooked.

I have been a customer for many years. The restaurant is good overall though abit noisey. Food is usualy very good and breakfast today was good quality and our waiter excellent. I miss the range of daily newspapers which had to go when Coronavirus arrived.

Had the mixed mushrooms - delicious! Good casual vibe. The staff are attentive without being intrusive. Standard price range. Good for groups.

The restaurant is well staffed and the café style food is very good. Each of us ordered something different and everyone was happy with their order. Being a Saturday afternoon it was quite crowded And also with 2 large groups celebrating. We thought there was not enough space between tables to be effective social distancing in this COVID age.

We arrived early and were able to be seated and the waiter took our drinks order straightaway but he didn't come back to take our food order even though we had tried to get his attention a couple of times. He must have gone on his break because another waiter had to check if we were wanting to order food which we did. Waiting time for our food was quick and I had the Green bowl plus halloumi (additional charge) and my husband had the corn fritter dish with scrambled eggs and both dishes were great. Note: Amex will incur a 1.5% fee

Breakfast definitely not as good as it used to be. Eggs Benedict with bacon was tiny - hardly any bacon and a thin barely toasted English muffin. We’ve been going for years, but quality has been dropping gradually. Shame because staff are friendly, but I think we’ll need to find another regular venue.

Great service and food in a relaxed atmosphere! And the meals were reasonably priced with a drinks special available. Coffee and cakes were very tasty.

I had the lobster soft taco and it was delicious. Maybe time to give the interior and furniture a new look? Service was good. It will be best if staff sticks to social distancing when taking orders.

The food, staff and service are impeccable ... excellent for shared plates - and a well chosen collated drinks list. A great casual dining find! We'll definitely be back.

Love the food and atmosphere here. Always a great experience. Can be a bit too busy at peak times and service can slip a bit at these times, but a good problem to have!

Amazing service as always and the food is great. This little family owned joint is a delight with very friendly service. They have cut down on their breakfast menu but everything on it is still fantastic.

I had the Barramundi on special and it was superb. The portions were generous all round as well. Service was good, except they do close early on a weeknight. 9pm chairs were being packed up around us. Leaves one with a flat feeling and end of the evening.

Really delicious food and excellent service. I highly recommend this restaurant and I would come back again. Pricing is also on point. We would have preferred more choices with spirits but really a minor detail in an excellent experience.

It was a wet day and the start was rather shambolic. One staff member directed me to the table I had booked for six but when I got there, another staff member said they were sorry - 'you can't sit there, it's been booked for a table of six' - I explained that I had made the booking and things were find after that. I liked the share plates best.

It was very noisy - the photos on the website showed a restaurant with table clothes - this was very casual - we could have just worn shorts & tshirts. The food was very ordinary but the service was very good and the staff were lovely - it was very disappointing and we will not visit again - sorry
