Diced lamb cooked in a rich gravy made of spices, whole red chillies and cashew sauce
Very poor quality of food, could feel raw spices in the curry. Overall terrible experience, wouldn’t recommend at all. Very unsatisfactory customer service too.
Very different menu
Value for money restaurant. Service was great and the food was good too.
Venue was not heated enough - it was warmer outside! The sheekh kebab were really hard and probably was stale. We complained and they bought out another serve and that was good. I ordered mains for my daughter and specifically asked for it to come out with our entree and it didn’t!! We had to constantly ask for someone to come over and the staff were not attentive at all. Will not be back.
good ambience. My 2 y/o especially liked the two fish tanks .
Food was fantastic
They didn't have a record of our booking, and argued about it. They grudgingly sat us, and we were the only ones in the restaurant. The service was very slow, another table came in whilst we were there but left as they said the wait to place an order was too long. IT looked like a nice venue with good views, but the service really let it down.
Thank you for your review! Every morning we get an email of the bookings for the day through Dimmi. We did not get this message so it was a bit surprising/ confusing for us. There was absolutely no grudge shown or argument by the staff it was merely an expression of surprise and you were immediately seated. However, if you felt that way we are sorry. In regards to the service, there were 8 curries ordered and it takes 15-20 mins for this size order. Your drinks came out in a couple of mins after they were ordered. In relation to the other table that you mentioned they did not leave because they thought the service was slow but because they had received a call and had to reach Templestowe in 25 mins. They apologised to the front staff for this. It’s wrong to assume what other tables thought.
The food was excellent: Authentic Indian at its best, and in a picturesque location.
Exceptionally friendly staff and magnificent flavoursome cuisine.
brilliant Indian food. The chicken 65 (entree) is a must have
Lovely food, and is always the same each visit

Excellent Food and Service to match
Best Indian Restaurant in Melbourne
Such tasty food and dessert was a revelation: a rice pudding with Nutella... mmm, called Keev. We've not had a bad curry here and the service is with a big lovely smile.
It was not a rushy evening still they took a bit more time in serving the food. If compare Food vs Price, Prices are on bit higher side.
Amazing food with an amazing view. Ordered Fish Tikka which was awesome and malai kofta was one of the best I've ever had. This place is a must go for all food enthusiast. Value for money and at a super prime locations. 10/10 .
Overall I was satisfied with the service and food.

Magic in a pan!
With its copper and bronze interior, Mint-O-Mustard combines our two favourite things, Indian cuisine with an exceptional bev menu. Overlooking the Yarra river on Newquay promenade, whether you're enjoying a good coffee, grabbing a quick lunch or relaxing over a meal with friends, your cravings will be satisfied.
This bright and cheerful Indian fusion fare, offers modern Australian and authentic Indian curries, plus a few interesting options such as Goan fish curry. Start off your meal with mushrooms stuffed with onion, capiscum and cheese thats deep fried in the chef's special batter. For mains, we hear the lamb vindaloo is a treat for chilli lovers, otherwise the beef saag is considered ‘magic in a pan’ for those who prefer mild spices.
