Fabulous
Been to this restaurant numerous times but this time numerous things went wrong firstly the wrong cut of steak was sent to our table then they made a mistake when serving the meals putting the wrong meal to each person as some steaks were medium and some well done it was an absolute debacle we asked them just to remove and replate the food as we didn’t want our have time to wait for new ones but they still went ahead and cooked new ones and made the same mistake again overall terrible experience
The meal was delicious with generous portions. The wine list was comprehensive and we enjoyed a cocktail and beer too. Service was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended
While Muse is clearly working under COVID rules, we enjoyed a large table to ourselves at an appropriate distance from other diners. Sitting aside some barrels, we enjoyed a very generous Antipasto platter, followed by Pork Belly and a Chicken Balontine, no room for dessert! All washed down with a lovely Preece Grenache Rose. A delightful experience.
Wonderful venue, scrumptious food and wait staff went out of their way to make our time at The Muse memorable.
Headed out for our last outing before the big lock down took a gamble on The Muse at Mitchelton Wowee very happy. The staff where super helpful and very welcoming, Had a lovely warm feeling this afternoon. Food was to die for paired with wine loved every course. Visited the Cellar door on the way out very happy all round will be back again see you in 6 weeks
Great food, lovely setting! Great service and lovely wines. The architecture is gorgeous. Couldn’t fault it. Will definitely return to Muse.
The restaurant is poorly signed and difficult to find at night. The waitress said “amazing” to almost every word we said when ordering. It was annoying and unprofessional. Learn some new words! The room was cold. One guest had an overcoat on. When I asked to be near the fire I was told “it doesn’t heat the room”. All in all very disappointing.
We had the Winemaker’s Special for lunch. It consisted of two choices for entree and two courses for the main course. These were followed by small macaroons, tea/coffee and a glass of wine all for $39pp. We also had some bread/olive oil and warm olives as appetisers. All very delicious.
Always pleasant meal - outside under the vines with the tranquil Goulburn River as a backdrop Service was good and portion sizes generous. Good selection of quality local produce.
Such a hidden gem. Was greeted and escorted to our seating in a very professional manner. Seated outside was spectacular view of Goulburn river. Orders taken promptly and dishes out at right timing. Food was of great taste and good portion size. The observation deck is a huge plus to the trip which gives amazing view of the wine yard and beyond. The aboriginal gallery downstairs is worth checking out with a lovely knowledgeable lady on duty. Great range for wine tasting and super friendly staffs. Will definitely come back to check out the accommodation.
What a wonderful meal we had at the Muse restaurant last night. We were welcomed and seated at a lovely table with a view. The service was exemplary and the food was absolutely wonderful, fresh and perfectly cooked and presented. Cannot fault this experience and will most definitely be back.
Good food and great service from our waitress. Steaks could be improved - more like roast beef than grilled steak. Great value with the Accor benefit
Great day out with visitors from UK - memorable experience for them!
Such a beautiful restaurant at a an amazing property. Food and wine list fantastic.
It is so disappointing that the food at Muse does not match the beautiful accommodation and surroundings at Mitchelton. It was ok but flavour combinations were not quite right eg in the mushroom risotto and salad with winter greens. Even more concerning was basic things such as the poached eggs at breakfast being hard boiled and the home made bread with dinner did not seem freshly baked. Service is also just ok. The timing was good and we didn’t have to wait long for drinks etc. However there was no warmth or sense of hospitality. The Mitchelton wines were great!
Very nice atmosphere, lovely restaurant fitout with even a private dining section available. The winery is very interesting, could easily spend 3 hours in the property from food to cellar door, to the art gallery and lookout. I'd consider this more like a touristy spot - beautiful landscape, the area is huge. The food is alright. Everything else makes up the points.
Would love to see more variety on the entree menu, mains were great
Fabulous experience
Wonderful location for an all inclusive retreat. Extensive menu options. We enjoyed our winemakers selection $39 mid week menu complemented by a massage to follow.
Great food and beautiful location.
