Fabulous
The zucchini flowers were my favourite. The steak and lamb were great too. Just wish there was more range! §
Our waitress was very kind and provided a lovely service. However, one of their signature menu, the t bone steak was not available as they “ran out” at 1:30pm. We instead got the more pricey $210 rib-eye special which tasted like rump steak. The sauces provided were horrific/almost inedible and they were so similar in flavour so there was no variety.
Dessert is nice
Great service. Staffs were very attentive. Food was fantastic especially desserts-recommended the pavlova. Our steak was perfectly cooked. Excellent experience.
Great safety protocols in place. Brilliant location to celebrate an early Christmas with 3 of my friends. The menu was one where we wanted everything on it .. and then there were Specials to take into account! So much so that we ended up with 1½ starters each! My Murray Cod was perfectly cooked and the saffron sauce was beautiful. We even managed to find space for the chocolate delice with cherries for dessert. Lovely attentive waiter and sommelier. Would definitely return.
It took almost 2 hours, waited over an hour for our mains since we arrived. They offered us free desert but it wasn’t worth the time. Regretted paying the bill. It was overpriced with rubbish customer service. They should have advised us the waiting periods as would have gone somewhere else. It didn’t look very busy.
Atmosphere was great including service. However couple of the entrees lacked flavour compared to similar dishes we had in other quality restaurants. Main dish (Angus Steak) was on point.
Lovely food
Staff were friendly but require table service training. Food was fresh and well presented, however we found the flavours simple and didn’t leave us wanting to come back.
Sensational food, great service and very strict adherence to social distancing and all the waiters and chefs wore masks. The baked snapper was superb.
Delicious, quality food and outstanding service. Warm atmosphere and extremely clean. Will definitely dine here again.
Beautifully cooked and presented food, friendly and helpful staff and excellent value for money. I chose a starter of wood roasted ricotta stuffed zucchini flowers with peas and truffle followed by blue eye trevalla with spinach, mushrooms and a myrtle tea and a cherry and chocolate dessert. All delicious.
Good food, though too expensive for what it offers. Very slow and unattentive service!
Great food and good service .
I have been to Mode Kitchen & Bar a few times already and still the food is perfect and delicious. The only small disappointment is they don't serve whole fish this season. Hope this will be returned to the menu next time.
Everything’s nice
We went there for pre-theatre. Will definitely go back and have a full meal more leisurely with friends.
Very intrusive wait staff. Kept coming over every five minutes so very distirbing.
Nice food and wine
The whole experience was delightful - they gave me nothing to complain about!
