When we arrived they said they weren’t open for another 2-3 weeks. I should’ve called instead of booking online due to the changes in Covid. Lesson learned! Luckily Sofitel was open for dine in. Disappointed how Marriott handled us.
Great service and food - would definitely recommend this for a lunch catch up - we had the seafood platter and all of us loved it. The fresh seafood was amazing
We waited an hour for our food and the restaurant wasn’t at capacity. The food was good but very pricey and the service was poor. Overpriced for what is a hotel restaurant.
Lovely friendly attentive staff. Beautiful food. All the meals delicious and brought out together and not long to wait. A lovely dinner for our special occasion and a complimentary drink for the happy couple.
Cold seafood selection fresh and excellent quality, would have liked a slightly better Hot food selection, oysters killpatrick were a slight let down but overall a great evening out
Food is very good, as usual
DISSAPPOINTING AND NOT WORTH IT!! Once you enter the restaurant, everything will look pretty and clean. We just ordered 2 mains and 1 side and they all were extremely disappointing!!! Mains 1 - Lamb shoulder pressed and celeriac risotto - The lamb tasted disgustingly old, you can actually smell that the lamb was old and it was super dry. Mains 2 - Chicken - It was an OK dish - they were literally 2 pieces of chicken WINGS with some mint sauce (which was OLD again with something that gone bad). Sides - FRIES with AIOLI - I would say this should be one of the easiest thing in the world to cook - SO MUCH DISAPPOINTMENT with Fries as they all were BURNED and probably refried 4 - 5 times before it got to our table - TASTED SO BAD that it killed our appetite. Every dish costed more than average (which we knew) but, tho whole reason to go there is for an experience - One of the worst dining experience we have had so far!! Definitely would not recommend anyone to go there for food!!
An ok seafood buffet in the CBD.
Went for dinner this time. Had the Spatchcock & Butternut Pumpkin. Decent food, and I guess a decent enough serving to satisfy me.
We ordered off the a la carte menu. Our meals were amazing -credit to the chef (Sumit) who even cane over to our table to ask how we enjoyed our meals. The staff were all very attentive also.
Nice ambience, great to wind down with a drink after a busy day. The tomato soup was delicious
I have nothing but praise after my lunch experience. The great food was one thing, but the thing that stood out most for me was all the staff working. Very friendly, very helpful an happy to answer all my questions, and had no problems working with me whenever I needed to make changes to food I wanted to order. I had the Korean Noodles, Wagyu Burger & Chicken on Turkish Bread. I loved them all, I have had similar food at other places for similar or higher prices prices which were quite inferior to the quality I had today. I left extremely full but more importantly, I left extremely happy :)
Nice little restaurant with a range of options for all palates. Meals were substantial and well priced, staff were attentive and welcoming on arrival. The setting is very elegant and well spaced.
Dinner here was really lovely. My personal favourite was the green tea cremè brûlée which was absolutely perfect. The portions were good too, not so big you struggled to finish them or so small you were left hungry. And the scallops were divine.
Ordered scallops and bugs, both portions were less than expected for the price. 2% surcharge on all credit card purchases was not communicated before payment.
1st visit to this place, I went for the Sunday Brunch. I have been to a few posh buffets like this one, and what I was able to choose from for the money I paid I though was satisfactory. There was a lot of great options, food quality was exceptional, I absolutely loved the Oysters Kilpatrick and Waffles. Service was as good as it gets. You also get a Bellini Cocktail or something like that when you arrive, I'm not much of a drinker but tried it anyway since I thought I might as well. I left very happy :)

Food is great as always, heat service, menu items have become a bit pricy
So so ! That all my feeling.
Very fresh and decently sized oysters. All staff throughout the hotel were polite and cheerful.
