great food selections, amazing settings, it is on the pricier side so we just went for celebrating the lunar new year. But will definitely recommend to visit :)
The dumplings are delicious. The quality of the dumplings ingredients taste fresh. Service was great. Highly recommended king crab soup prawns dumplings and truffle wild mushroom dumplings.
The food and ambience were fantastic - probably the best duck I've eaten (and that includes Flower Drum in Melbourne). Only issue - we felt we were constantly being upsold by the waiting staff. There's a significant difference between great service and upselling, not sure the staff understand that. Regardless, we'll go back.
Best yum cha in Sydney. The dumplings are delicious. Limited menu before 12 on the weekends but we loved it all. Not sure why the Bloody Mary was in such a fancy cocktail glass though would be better in a tall glass with lots of ice as the tomato juice was a little warm.
Best service I’ve received in Sydney! So attentive and food was beautiful!
The best sweet and sour pork belly I’ve ever eaten
Fabulous food and service as always. We will be back! Thanks Mr Wong for a gastronomic delight. This is one of our favourite restaurants in Sydney.
The food was awesome and the service was great .
Celebrating my father’s 80th birthday the staff were amazing and attentive particularly our Canadian waitress organise it the Fried Ice Cream with Birthday candle and our sommelier who picked out an amazing Austrian Gruner Vetleiner. As always it was the food that stood out from the Lobster and scallops dumplings, to the Crispy Eggplant very element ensured Dad’s important milestone was truly special our thanks again to the team at Mr Wong
Great food, good service! Needs a cleaner bathroom though!
Such a wonderful gem! Lived everything! The food, the drinks, the atmosphere!
Crispy eggplant was a revelation. Fried rice and soup dumplings were also a favorite. Great atmosphere and decor. The only disappointment was the char sui. But overall a great experience.
The place was a bit hard to find....however, the services was great...we went for Yum Cha Lunch...the dumplings are so tasty and delicious.... I would recommend Mr Wong to all my friends and families...
The food and service were excellent. Had several different dishes between 6 of us and would order every single one again. We had reservations but there was a line when we got there. Do yourself a favor and wait it out. Wasn’t long for those without reservations. Best dinner yet on our 3 week vacation.
Fantastic food and service! A real winner!
I came here for my team's Xmas lunch and we ordered the banquet - wowee there was a lot of delicious food! Service was friendly but a little slow, they were very busy so this was understandable. My table kept talking about how nicely set out the restaurant was, how much we loved the ambience and marvelled at how old the building must be. Overall it was a great group dining experience, I would love to come back again and try a few things a la carte.
Mr Wong is our favourite restaurant in Sydney by far!! Every time we have been the food has been exceptional, the setting and atmosphere is always such a great vibe, service is always great, honestly I have never experienced a bad night at Mr Wong. I will keep coming back until something changes!
Amazing service, food and ambience.
Great customer service- loved the interior design. We haven’t even left the restaurant yet but wanted to express our satisfaction. Great wine list too!
Mr Wong has never failed for us. Consistently good service and food and friendly but not familiar staff. A great selection of food and wine and reasonably priced. Thank you!
