An excellent restaurant, food, staff, ambience. Always a joy to go to this top quality restaurant. What a wonderful building it is in also. *****
The food is refined yet authentic and delicious. Reasonable price for the ambience and quality of food. It’s actually much cheaper than a fine dining meal. Jump the queue if you are staying at Establishment Hotel.
Very busy very crowded but excellent food. Service is very smart. Best if you actually check the wine menu before ordering because you may be surprised at the cost. Then again the wines are good quality. The barmen aren’t good at pulling beers.
A favourite restaurant that never disappoints. Great atmosphere, great service and amazing food ! I would highly recommend dining at this restaurant.
A Fab variety of tasty dishes beautifully prepared, service was quick but we didn’t feel rushed and the deep fried ice cream was to die for..A chubby bill but well worth it.
Mr Wong always delivers service, atmosphere but above all quality of food. I’ve been lots of times, my kids now go with their partners. Excellent in every way
Had not visited the restaurant for a while and found that it has now morphed from an eclectic dining experience with attentive professional service to a 240 seat corporate luncheon/dinner venue looking to shovel people through and out the door. Food is quite good but no longer great. Make up your own mind.
Amazing food and service
Fabulous food, fabulous service, fabulous atmosphere. My only problem is live seafood that always puts me off. But I would recommend to anyone that wants a great experience
As expected food was awesome, went the $123 banquet and just loved every dish. Service was excellent also. Be back very soon
Really good food, but the balmain bugs and salt & pepper calamari were disappointing (won’t be ordering any fried dishes again). Also, we asked them not to garnish any dishes with coriander and every dish came out with coriander! Service was a little slow. Restaurant has a nice vibe/mood but the table we were given for 5 people was very squashy.
Very nice food. Enjoyed the yum cha, worth waking up early for. First time to try the mango puff dessert and was suprised with the flavor, texture and taste.
This restaurant has everything from start to finish ! The hostess in the bar Palmer and Co downstairs looked after us from the time we arrived until she took us upstairs to Mr Wongs ! The service by staff was excellent and we did not want our food to end !! Excellent choices including dessert and wine list ! We left satisfied with every mouthful but did not leave too full ! DEFINATELY returning again !!! And very happy with the bill !!!
Beautiful food as always, but just very noisy downstairs.
This restaurant had the best ambience and the food was amazing - so much selection and the service was wonderful too. If you are wanting dim sum make sure you are there before 2pm
We were seated politely. The table next to us was seated after us yet service was provided to them first. The wrong dumplings were given to us, it was only after we ate the dumplings that we realised it was the incorrect order. As we were waiting for the egg tart, our table was abruptly, roughly and loudly cleared. We waited patiently for our egg tarts and new plates to be delivered to us. We received the egg tart, yet it wasn’t until we asked if we were going to be provided new plates that new plates were presented to us. I understand that there was a spoon per egg tart and paper mats, but I would’ve still preferred to have a plate to eat our food. We got the bill, left to pay. Not even a word of “hope you enjoyed your meal” or “did you enjoy everything/how was everything” was even mentioned Over all an extremely disappointing dining experience. And to make it worse, when we were waiting for the restaurant to open, the outside was surrounded by big commercial bins, empty but was still quite unpleasant smelling. I’m not sure is that meant to represent that asian countries/Hong kong is an unpleasant and unhygienic country/countries. Again, all in all a very disappointing experience which is unfortunate as I had been before previously and enjoyed myself. We both left dissatisfied and probably would not be keen any time soon to return
The service never fails, and the food OMG to die for! Love taking my friends and family there, never a let down!
Fabulous. Wonderful food, excellent service. It was such a pleasure to be treated so well when the restaurant was so busy, staff were so polite and friendly.
Great setting and really good food to share. We love shared meals and enjoyed sampling variety of great menu items including the fried rice, dim sum, and calamari.
Mr Wong's is a hidden treasure. Enjoyed our meals chosen, staff were very professional. A little expensive for my taste. But would visit again.
