The place was packed , but we got drinks fast and food was also really quick. $30 pp got us a big platter of food to share .. meat heaven. There is entertainment so it is noisy , very noisy so a table outside is better for chatting. Overall really impressed.

The bouncer was passive aggressive towards our group. We were a group of 45 plus blokes who were sober and had to hand our ID over to make sure we behaved. The place smelled of yeast and the beer was served in warm glasses. Really disappointed.

This place is amazing, never been to anything like it before. It's such a fun place to eat, the band is the icing on the cake. This place makes everyone feel welcome.

this place is huge! lots of seats and tables. we went during an oktoberfest weekend. very lively atmosphere but due to this the service was horrible. there were just not enough waiters to serve the customers. food was above average but nothing to wow about. selection of beers were great though

We come here a lot and never had any complaints but we were there for my daughters birthday on Sunday and the service was really slow. I lost count how many times we asked for our drinks. My kids meals were also missing condiments as was the pretzel we ordered and it took ages to get it rectified. When the Munich platter came out none of the pork skin was crunchy. Everything was delicious but let’s face it we all look forward to crackle and it was all soggy. The pork belly skin was rubbery and soft and none of the skin on the knuckle was crispy either so that was extremely disappointing.

My friend and I had the Pork platter for $35.00pp, as a lover of pork, the platter was delicious, the only criticism would be, add some roast vegetables to the platter, or as suggested sides, asparagus, carrots, broccoli, perhaps some sweet potato or butternut pumpkin... Otherwise, EXCELLENT

Well, maybe its Friday Night during Oktoberfest times, but was not really exciting and a great memory. Quality of food was very good (accept that a little change request potato salad instead of mesh) and really enough, pretty pricy, service was „okay“ even so after 1 hour she came straight will the bill and did not even ask whether we like to order a 2nd stein (or did we look so drunk ?????? !?!). Gave us a feeling of mass processing or like an assembly line, absolute NOTHING to do with the „Bavarian Snugness“, I guess then you need to go to another Bavarian Place in Melbourne.

Service was confused and unbelievably slow especially for drinks. After extremely long waits we resorted to going to the bar ourselves. Some beers on the special event menu were not even available. The pork knuckle was overcooked and the schnitzels deep fried to within an inch of existence. Very underwhelming experience even with a barely half full dining hall.

Firstly, I realise it was a hectic night for staff being the opening night of Oktoberfest celebrations. We had a table booked for 4 people. The security wouldn't let the other two up without lining up despite our friends telling them the table number and area we were sitting. I had to go downstairs, get a staff member to clear it with security that I could exit and enter back in again with the rest of our table. Took us ages to flag a staff member down to order, once with us she was polite, curtious and friendly however, first 2 main meals came out, no water or drinks had come by this stage nor had the pretzels we ordered for entree as part of the $79 package and we had to chase the other two meals, also by having to flag down staff. Drinks came, everyone finishes their meals, dirty plates are not taken away for the entire duration and 1 dessert comes (waffles). Still waiting for the other two for at least 15-20 mins then had to ask again to chase the rest. He comes back to say they've run out of vanilla ice cream (even though it was on the waffle?) And we were given alternative flavours which is fine except it was 3/4 melted. For the price we paid ( 3x Oktoberfest packages @ $79 plus another meal, drink and entree) it definitely wasn't worth the $300 that we paid. Pretty disappointed as we have been plenty of times before over the years including NYE and had a much better experience

Had a great day food was great our waitress was also very good. She was very accomodating when we asked to move tables due to the size of our party. (This probably should have been considered by management when we booked) All in all a great day

The platter for two was very generous in size. Very tasty and very filling!
